Episode 19: Adult Friendships

Sharona Patrice Season 1 Episode 19

Are you open to new friendships as an adult? How do you approach meeting new people and making friends?

Making new friends in adulthood poses its own set of challenges. In this episode, I talk about the complexities of starting new friendships as an adult and how you can build friendships in different environments and phases of life. This episode was inspired by a conversation I had with friends about how difficult it is to find friendships that “stick”, especially when relocated to a new city. I also share what you can do to open up to new people and create more meaningful friendships.

How do you cultivate new friendships as an adult? Are you all set with your friend circle or do you want to expand it?

Episode Gem:
“Every single relationship takes effort, energy, work, & time. You can plant the seed for the friendship, but if you don’t nourish it, water it, or weed the garden it’s not going to grow.”
