Matt Perkins is a life-long surfer from the NC/SC coast. He is a Chemistry and Physics teacher by day and a podcast host by night. He worked for several years in the surf industry, running a surf shop and representing surfboard shapers. Watersports have always been his passion; during the 1990's he released a series of amateur Surf Videos known as Surferpalooza while living aboard his sailboat "Casaperro" sic, and in the early 2000's was Captain/Owner of the boat RV Sea Lab - a marine science based learning boat for students aged 14-17.
