At the end of his senior year in high school Toby opens up his friend's surf magazine in shop class. He finds himself transported from Ohio to a whole new world and a path that he would continue to follow for the rest of his life. I caught up with him on the Ocracoke to Cedar Island Ferry as he made his way down the outer banks of NC, surfing with his son.
