I know Dan Rossi well as the widow of a disabled veteran and licensed vendor. He is absolutely creditable and knowledgeable. As a widow, I had to go to court to get the city to issue me a food permit. It’s disgraceful. I assure you that everything he has said can be corroborated. And the city has implemented policies and laws that only strengthen the black market. There’s so much physical and mental abuse, extortion, and harassment to legitimate vendors that the city knows about yet turns a blind eye. Having been a vendor and worked with Dan I know firsthand what he’s saying doesn’t even scratch the surface if what we have endured trying to compete with the unscrupulous street thugs and the city!
