Your parents were alcoholics, your grandparents were alcoholics, their parents were.. Your grandparents smoked, your parents smoke, now you smoke.. You scream and yell because everyone around you that you grew up with also screamed and yelled.. You are called to be the chain breaker, the generational curse breaker. You are strong and capable of doing all things through Christ who strengthens you, Philippians 4:13. God is calling you to bigger and higher things in this lifetime; to be the change in the world, bringing heaven here on earth. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn form their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land." The ripple effect of you turning from what you always have known into something different, something healthy, can pivot the next generation into a healthier lifestyle.
