On this week’s episode, host Caryn Antonini is joined by Stacey Mei Yan Fong, author of 50 Pies, 50 States – An Immigrant’s Love Letter to the Unites States Through Pie. Currently, a home baker living in Brooklyn, Stacey was born in Singapore, lived in Indonesia and grew up in Hong Kong. She moved to the Unites States to pursue a degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design and spent a decade designing in the fashion industry. During that time, she launched her “50 Pies, 50 States” project which led to her baking pies at Four and Twenty Blackbirds Pie Shop where she perfected her craft - and eventually wrote a cookbook!
