I'm a podcaster, YouTuber, editor and all-around nerd culture advocate, who learned the transformative power of comics, when my father bought me my first issue of Uncanny X-Men in 1983. These were much more than just stories of heroes and villains. For me, they were a glimpse into the human condition itself, told through stunning, colorful imagery. This would lead to a lifelong passion for collecting graphic books of all types, from traditional superhero comics to manga, high fantasy and more alternative/esoteric fare.  

My hope is to show people that comic books aren't just for kids anymore. It's way beyond the flashy uniforms, capes, and cowls. There are, in fact, oceans of stories, told from all different points of view, from all kinds of people.
