I recently talked with Mariel Pfeifer, assistant professor of biology at the University of Mississippi. Mariel is a biology education researcher working in a biology department, and I had an epistemological question for her about that. How do her colleagues, who do quantitative research, receive her qualitative bio ed research? I really loved her answer to this question.
