Getting Out of Debt
#017 - Getting out of debt can be one of the most challenging long-term goals to conquer, but it can also be one of the most liberating. Long story short, breaking the big, scary number down into realistic goals and ideas makes it all feel much more manageable. Most importantly, giving ourselves the satisfaction of moving the progress bar as frequently as possible makes us more motivated and more likely to succeed.
To that end, here's what I have for you in today's episode:
- A starting point of creating what might be some uncomfortable awareness around the big picture total
- A technique I used to set a realistic pay-down goal for myself
- An empowering clarity question to help us get to specific strategies and ideas to move us closer to that goal
- One more technique that can help us stay motivated and feel like we're making progress
- And last but not least, a mindset shift we can practice that puts us in a calmer, more resourceful state along the way
This episode is designed to give you practical strategies and quick wins when it comes to getting out of debt, and I truly hope you find them as helpful as I have!
