It's completely changed my perspective of challenging students, given me genuine compassion and connection with the kids who were hardest to reach in class — and paid three times more per hour than I made teaching. Working 1:1 was so rewarding that it even inspired me to quit my job to create more room for what feels more fulfilling and aligned.
