Welcome to Unmasking Greatness. I'm your host, Chris Kakoris, a lifestyle fitness coach and mentor. This podcast is about unmasking your greatest potential, finding your purpose, and crafting a life worth living. Health and fitness has been the gateway drug to all of my success. My continuous drive to keep learning and surround myself with other high achievers forces me to level up, which has developed my mind to something I never thought was possible. This podcast is here to share what I've learned and continue to learn with all of you. This is your time to take back control of your health, mindset, and personal environment. Strap in as we are recharged, and always if you find value in the show, please subscribe and share as we can all get better together. Let's go. What's up, guys? Welcome to another episode of Unmasking Greatness. I'm your host, Chris Kakoris. And today I have a topic that I want to go over with you guys that I actually have just touched on the this past week with our P3 clients. So if you've been following me on like social media, you you may have seen me talking about this new program that we have designed. And we roughly launched it uh six weeks ago now. And this program is designed for uh business owners or high-level executives, those that have high stress, high demanding jobs, but also are trying to level up. And as you continue to grow and scale, you have to create a stronger foundation. And sometimes the limits that start to come before you are ones that you never saw. And sometimes that's your biology. And this is where we were able to blend health, fitness, but also creating foundational structure for people to be successful in their businesses as well, because it all blends together, right? Uh if you are growing and scaling a business and eventually your health suffers, well, then that's that's a limit. And that happens very much. So if you didn't have a good grasp on working out and eating healthy prior to starting uh your business or working at a high-level job, more than likely it took even more of a backseat than it did prior. And so this is where we're trying to regroup, regather, and get these individuals to level up. So that through this peak professional performance program, I really focused not just on workouts that are efficient, you know, specifically with like time and also reaching their physical goals and their nutritional aspect. I wanted to make sure that we really set the foundation strong. And that really comes down to your mindset, right? It's easy to just push harder and harder, uh, but many times that's not what you need to do. Sometimes you need to scale back. And with this program, we talked a lot about blood work. Uh, we got most of everybody to take uh blood panels so we could look and look at their cortisol levels, look at their hormones, uh what they were deficient in, and really just dial that in. And so we had a call last week and and I thought it was a really good topic. And I was like, you know what? I want to share this with everyone because this can apply to to everyone. And that and it doesn't have to necessarily be business owners or high-level professionals. Wherever you're currently at, this is gonna apply to you. And I came up with this whole concept because this is something that I I even struggle with. I struggle with uh my capacity, okay? My capacity to be able to handle and run a business and have a team and have a family, a wife, a son, have uh be able to still get in my workouts and eat my nutritious food that I have planned. And, you know, we're juggling, we're juggling all these tasks. And, you know, as you start to continue to grow in scale, uh the capacity of you to juggle uh becomes very difficult and and limiting. So today I want to talk about something that has been coming up uh over and over with myself, and then also coming up with with our P3 clients, which is which is capacity. And capacity is is not motivation, it's not discipline, and not wanting it bad enough. Uh capacity, because you know, here's the hard truth. Your results are not limited by how badly you want success. They're limited by how much you can actually hold, handle, and sustain. Right? So most people don't fail because they're lazy, they fail because their life, their body, their mind, and the systems that they created in that time period cannot support the level they're trying to reach. And I see this over and over, and I see this with many others, and I've seen this with myself as I'm I'm even right now currently trying to restructure my systems to be able to handle this capacity. And that means different things for different people. Okay. So take this into consideration. So, like I was talking about with especially with like biology and things like that, there's there's certain ceilings to your capacity that most people don't see. And through this program specifically, every business owner I work with wants more revenue, growth, impact, freedom, time, more energy. But few are ever asked this question when I talk to them is do I actually have the capacity to hold what is about to come in this next level, this next season of my life? Because here's what happens you grow the business, but your stress tolerance doesn't grow along with it. And then you start making more money, but your nervous system is completely fried. You take on more responsibility, but now your sleep, your health, relationships, and clarity are starting to collapse in front of you. So instead of expansion, you end up getting burnt out, shorter temper, brain frog, decision fatigue, inconsistent performance. And eventually you end up starting self-sabotaging yourself because you just see this pattern, and as humans, we like patterns and we are creatures of habit. So we just kind of snowball and spiral down. And it's not because you're broken, it's but because you you outgrew your current capacity. So understand your capacity is built, it's it's not wished for or just magically happen. So most people think success is about trying harder. And a lot of these high performers know it's about becoming someone who can handle more. So capacity is really how much stress you can tolerate without breaking, how much responsibility you can carry without resentment, how many decisions you can make without frying your brain, or how much pressure you can sit and still execute cleanly. Right? So here's the key capacity is trained just like a muscle, right? I've never walked in the gym myself or seen everybody, anyone else, walk in the gym, walk to the deadlift pad, and just pull 500 pounds on day one. Never in my life. And if you have, please send it to me. I'd be I'd be shocked. But you build the structure and the stability and the nervous system and recovery to be able to do something like that over time and time and again, right? It takes a lot of effort. You have to train for something like that. Capacity is the same thing. And this also capacity is not just business, but it's also the same thing when it comes to life, when it comes to your relationships, when it comes to being a leader. You have to train yourself to become better and better as you continue to get deeper in that field. But many times, and this is where our program starts to pull in, is your biology sets your business ceiling. This is where most entrepreneurs miss it, right? Your body is not separate from your performance and business performance. If your sleep is horrible, your capacity is gonna shrink. You know, if your stress is chronic stress, again, capacity shrinks. Nutrition, I see plenty of people, and not just business owners, just skipping meals. They're too busy, don't have time to slow down. Again, that is gonna shrink your capacity, which is also going to make your recovery horrible. And for you to be able to wake up, refresh, recharge, it's just not gonna happen. And you may still push forward, but you're doing it on a smaller and smaller fuel tank. You're running on fumes, and I've run on fumes many times before, and eventually you can tell you are just like you're you're busy but not productive, right? You're you're getting sleep, but you're not recharged or refreshed. You're starting to get that brain fog because you forgot to eat, and then you're now you're starving and irritated. So this is why you know, two business owners can have the same skills, the same opportunities, the same market, and one scales calmly while the other one lives in this chaos and anxiety and constant fight or flight. It's not intelligence, it's it comes down to your capacity. So, you know, I I was talking to these guys on the call, and I was like, you know, what's you got to ask yourself, what is the real bottleneck? What is that bottleneck that is the constraint for you? And again, is it we're talking business and health? I want you to think both, but is it a system constraint? It is a process constraint. Um, do you need a team structure? You know, where where is it? You know, and this usually comes down to the operator. It's not that there's no food, there's not, is that there's no gym or there's no employees for your business, right? It's it's usually something that we are doing or not doing that is that is a constraint. So your emotional regulation could be one. Your decision making under pressure, maybe not optimal, uh, ability to delegate, say no. That's I a lot of people are people pleasers, you know, they don't want to say no to people. But again, you got to set some boundaries for yourself to be able to be a successful operator in your in your life. So your ability to recover as well, because if you're giving, giving, giving to everybody else, like when when do you actually give to yourself? So if you don't grow you, the business will eventually outgrow you, right? And this same thing. If if you don't focus on you, your health is gonna decline on you, right? And when this happens, you're either going to stall, you're either going to just like shut things down and just be super frustrated and be like, forget it, this isn't even worth it. Uh, you could potentially even unconsciously create problems just to relief from the pressure, you know, and that's that's not a just a mindset issue, this is a capacity issue. So I started to explain to them this is how you're actually going to increase your capacity. And you don't increase the capacity by the hype, you increase it by upgrading the foundations. And so we have some pillars that I was going through with them, and there's four pillars to help you increase your capacity. And the first one is your nervous system regulation. Okay, if you are constantly in a fight or flight, your capacity is going to be capped. So breathing, sleeping, recovery, stress management, this isn't you know being soft or slowing down, right? This is part of your performance infrastructure. We need to be able to regulate our nervous system. You know, the second one is physical health and energy. Your brain runs on your body, period. So if your energy is unstable, your leadership is definitely going to be unstable. And again, leadership meaning not just business, leadership in your household. You know, are you a father, a mother, you have children? Are you are you showing up the way that you should be? You know, are you just burnt out and you just sink into the couch when you go home eating Cheetos and losing yourself in the TV just because you're just completely burned? The third one is systems, systems and structure, right? Chaos will eat your capacity up, and structure creates the space, right? We are in total control of what we do with our time. Start to create that space for yourself. Let yourself breathe. I know what it's like to be able to carry all the weight where you just feel smothered, like you are breathing through a straw underwater. I know what it feels like. It's a miserable place, but until you can get your head above water, you will never be able to grow and scale and be the person you want to be. And that comes down to the last one, your identity upgrade, the version of you that built this level. This is not the version that sustains the next one. You ever hear like there's new new devil, new levels, new devils, right? You have to upgrade and you have to see yourself as the person you want to be. Right? How does that person act? How does that person speak? How does that person show up? And this isn't a fake it if you make it kind of style. This is this is the reality. You really want to start moving and flowing in a way that you need to to be that person you want to be. So you don't need more willpower, you need to make more room inside of yourself. And so this is kind of our our P3 lens, which becomes the performance, productivity, and purpose. Uh, and this is exactly why we built our P3 accelerator program, uh, not just to make you better at your business. That, in my opinion, is more of a default, right? Because I I don't know how to run all these people's business, right? And some of them have very, very massive and very successful businesses. That's not that's not what I created this for. I'm not a uh business mentor, but I am going to get you to a place where you physically, mentally, emotionally are at your very peak to be able to show up better for your business, right? So, but to make you bigger internally, more emotionally stable, physically resilient, mentally clear, strategically focused, right? All this has to come with some good fundamental foundations, which is what we started to create. Because the goal isn't just to grow the business, the goal is to become the kind of human who can hold the growth without breaking. And many times, if you can catch the the little downfalls that you see, like I call them cracks, cracks in your life. If you find the cracks before it totally breaks, you that's that is a good thing because it's a lot easier to fix a crack than it is to fix something that is completely broken off. And so the real question that I leave you guys with is instead of asking, how do I make more or how can I do more, start asking yourself, who do I need to become to hold more? What is that person like? Because your next level of success doesn't require more hustle, it requires more capacity, and that's something you can build on purpose, right? This is this is gonna take effort, but when you know why you're doing something and who you want to become, this is where you can really, really outshine your own potential and what you think is possible. And make sure that you surround yourself with the right types of people. This is the also probably one of the greatest things, as well, by doing this is because everybody in the room understands each other. It's like we speak the same language, we know what we're going through. Uh, we can all relate in in some capacity. And so it makes it very easy to have conversations and and talk about these topics. And I love this because again, these again, when I go back to the levels and I start thinking about the things that I struggled with, and I've talked to other, you know, uh business owners and mentors that are, you know, way further ahead than I am, they are they already went through what I'm going through. And so they can really just sit down and be like, all right, Chris, let me let me share this with you. This is my experience. And so, and just hearing them, it kind of helps me breathe a little bit because I'm like, okay, I'm I'm not alone. I'm not alone in this whole journey. So find find that group, you know, find that group. If if you are a person that is highly stressed, uh, you're you're hyper-focused, type A. Um, you know, obviously if you have a business or work in a you know high demanding corporate job, uh, reach out to me, you know. Um if you don't have nobody to talk to, maybe, maybe coming inside of our circle will be helpful to you to realize that that you're not alone. Most people that feel like they're alone are are self-isolating, and this is where you can really start to damage your your personal growth, right? And if you've ever seen like um like swamp water, right? Swamp water, nothing, nothing grows there. It's not very pretty, right? Uh, and probably I I wouldn't recommend drinking out of swamp water. But when you think of mountain water, mountain water flows, it gets self-filtered through the cracks as it comes down the mountain. It's the freshest water that you can drink. And so if you're not flowing, if you're not moving and releasing and filtering, you are gonna be swamp water. So hope that resonates with some of you guys. I hope this gets you focused and motivated this Monday. And I'm glad to be back on the podcast, hitting these things hard with you guys. I've been refocused, remotivated. If you've heard the the last two podcasts, thank you. The first one, two, two episodes ago, which actually was our, I guess, our season four, episode one. Uh, if you didn't listen to that, go check that out. That will give you a better idea of the direction and also uh why I took a little bit of a break from the podcast, but I'm not going to talk about that here. All right. So hope you guys have a good rest of the week. I'll talk to y'all later. Peace.
