Just found The Resilient Writer Radio Show! What a great resource for aspiring writers!
I've been listening to your radio podcast since the end of the summit and absolutely love it. I wish I knew of you sooner Rhoda but so glad I can learn from you now. This last podcast was great. Thanks so much.
(Do not remove) i enjoyed listening to this.Having completed my own memoir.I'm always interested in hearing how others created theirs. I am certainly interested in reading her story. As always. I love listening to your podcasts.
This is a great show! A subject that can even be expounded on more! Through my creative life, whether it was art or story writing, my time was always tinged with so much guilt. Guilt for not doing the housework, caring for children or the spouse. Taking those little moments to create felt like stealing from the "family". I loved this session!
wow! 200 rejections, and yet she still kept writing what an inspiring talk!
My co-author, Lana Cullis, shared the Barbara Sibbald interview with me. It was so helpful! I recently came into possession of journals written by my husband’s grandmother between 1904 and 1916 in South Carolina. I’m only about 20% done with reading and simultaneously digitizing the text. I'm struggling with some of the same issues as Barbara as I consider the options for how to turn this into a publishable book. I was especially surprised to hear her talking about the "mixed media" nature of her book. I was contemplating something similar. One additional issue I have is needing approval from the blood relatives, including my resistant husband. Writing a book of fiction may be my best option. So this interview was very encouraging. Thanks!
this was a great morning show to wake up to -a lot of good information. Boni
Yes, good show on dictation. Most of my writing is dictated I'm doing it right now! I agree, it's a wonderful way to write.
loved the reminder that we don’t need to get overwhelmed in our projects…breaking it down step-by-step and being disciplined to complete the step you’re on. Always grateful Rhonda reminds me that I’m a capable writer with each episode!
I have just found your podcast and I love it. I will be searching the list for more on mind mapping. Thanks for your wisdom and for sharing. I’m a big fan after listening to two programmes.
This podcast was so helpful. I am going to put together a “go bag” for the 15 minute sessions and start scheduling my writing sessions first. Thank you so much for helping me feel “unstuck.”
