Come Mingle
Fifteen years ago we were roommates. Life took us in completely different directions. Now we're catching up—talking about what changed, what didn't, and everything we've learned along the way. Some episodes are serious, some are hilarious, but every conversation starts with one question: what did the last 15 years teach us?

Alright, welcome to episode two of the Come Mingle Podcast. I'm gonna host Justin Mingle to my left. Bring a lane. I shouldn't interrupt.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Where two coming interrupted me, but we can talk about life lessons we learned along the way. So that's pretty much what we got going on this week. Well, what what is today's episode? Today's episode is called Race Number, and we're gonna talk about your I am tired this week and have my day again like I did last week, not that wasn't that like an AM on a Speed Plus game, but expect to see today. Because I worked all week. I worked six days this week. We had Rumble through the Valley for um Evans for Yamaha with a sponsor, and I went on my day off machines and customer late Frida Friday. I work not to eight Saturday night for the party afterwards, just a birthday party wasn't anything crazy, but I'm tired today.
SPEAKER_01How would you I'm always tired and there's not enough hours on the day. And there's that one you don't like. We just asked that! We just average the one that I don't like and that's probably me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I had fun. But that's the difference between us and other people. I got my evidence for your hobby on today. We just got shirts in this week. And I could eat some uh pulled pork french fries after that. I bought some uh uh pulled pork, I said it was three dollar french fries, and I said, can I get those three dollar french fries with a little bit of pork on it? And then started making it and said that'd be 15 bucks. But it was really, really good. I thought she's got my shirt. Don't call me a cheese shirt. Let's start. Um we go exciting thing is we do have a potential sponsor coming up, and I'm not going to be hugely exciting. Why did it stop recording on it? We're back for it. Um But yeah, I'm not gonna tell you who it is, but I'm gonna say that's the only thing. Alright. What um what's our first? Do you remember your first memory? You wouldn't remember your first memory. I do not remember it. I was more in the very time.
SPEAKER_01What is your first memory? That's my first memory. It's probably like two. Um me and my little cousin were out, and uh my grandparents out. My grandfather go for Nikki my cousin's attention. Okay, and we both looked over. And he had a chicken. He picked it up. He swung around, and it came off. And it flew. Well, the puppy came out. And he started laughing. It got up and kicked up. Well, uh, did you have to deserve it?
SPEAKER_00Oh, my two years old. What two year old deserves having breast cancer and my chest? Appropriately move in my hands.
SPEAKER_01You should just let her go to the floor.
SPEAKER_00I think it's gonna move. I think my first memory was just like playing in the in the grass or something. I remember I had a uh remember I had a talk at truck. It was um um one with a dump bed on it, and now it's pushing it, and uh dump bed came up and hit me and there's some blood was all over the place. So I think that was pretty close to my first first memory. It was a good one too. What's our first memory stuff? I don't know. I I think it's a uh I think it's a self-preservation thing, because uh your first memories are things that could cause you danger and you have to avoid. Unless normal people have good memories, I don't know. Okay, I really don't know. You know, one person asks questions, the other one answers the volley. I know. We're gonna work, uh one thing we're doing much better this week is talking into the microphone, so I appreciate that. But uh, what's your family dynamic like?
SPEAKER_01Family dynamic, well, uh I'm the middle child. Okay. I am a middle child.
SPEAKER_00I left.
SPEAKER_01I left. My parents uh divorced when I was a little. Uh raised by my mom and my uh stepdad. Uh we just moved around a lot.
SPEAKER_00So Glenn Campbell mostly moved around in. No, I started uh Texas. I'm I was born in Terrell, Texas. Okay, so not I'm not gonna um say what it is, but our social security numbers usually start with one. What is yours? Uh two. Okay. Yeah, alright, I know. What's the whole thing though? What are the other eight? Um, what's something dumb that your parents bring up that you did as a kid?
SPEAKER_01Right into things. Just constant constant now, just like like adorable. Whatever reason. I'll just walk into half of it. Like my daughter. No, I just yeah, doors constantly fall into stuff, but I got glasses later in life, so I just I remember, oh yeah, I uh I remember my it was something I did just something that my brother didn't.
SPEAKER_00There was remember in like 1993, there were these bees coming from Texas. They were killer bees. Do you remember that at all? Yes, I remember the killer bees. My brother said, Well, how does a bee even kill you? We're sitting at dinner and my dad goes, it comes up behind you and slits your throat.
