Show Notes

Want to know how our wastewater is cleaned before it's returned to the environment?  Ever wonder what really  happens when you flush?  Curious about what kind of things are found?

Did you know that last year, the average daily flow through Mattawoman was 16.5 million gallons?  The plant processes over 3 billion gallons of effluent a year and removes more than 5 million pounds of waste.

In this podcast we go inside the Mattawoman Wastewater Treatment (or Reclamation) Plant to discover the process and people who protect the wastewater system and the environment.  It's not as dirty or nasty as you may think.
