Luz Olid
Luz Olid is an education researcher and co-founder of Evolving Education. Originally a biotechnology scientist, she shifted her focus to education after questioning the effectiveness of traditional schooling. She has traveled to over 170 alternative learning centers worldwide, studying democratic schools, self-directed learning, and innovative teaching methods. Luz now works to make these models accessible to educators, parents, and communities through research, training, and documentary filmmaking.
