Blake Boles is an educator, author, and the founder of Unschool Adventures. He has written Why Are You Still Sending Your Kids to School?, The Art of Self-Directed Learning, Better Than College, and College Without High School. Since 2003, Blake has been a leading voice in self-directed education, speaking at more than 80 conferences, schools, and parent events. His work has been featured by The New York Times, Psychology Today, BBC Travel, NPR affiliates, and others. From 2015–2022, he hosted the Off-Trail Learning podcast. A former astrophysics major at UC Berkeley, Blake shifted paths after discovering the philosophy of unschooling and now helps young people chart their own educational journeys.
