Susan Yao
Susan Yao is an educator, microschool founder, and advocate for self-directed learning. A former middle-school head with a Master’s in Leadership for Educational Change from Bank Street College, she co-founded the Vermont Village School, a community-based microschool focused on autonomy and connection. She also writes about education and contemplative practice, drawing on more than 17 years of Buddhist study.
