Blake Johnson

Blake Johnson was selected on June 27, 2020 to fill a vacancy in District 100 of the Indiana House of Representatives. He was elected to his first full term in November of that year. He previously served as a member of the Indianapolis City-County Council.

Johnson serves as ranking Democrat on the Rules and Legislative Procedures Committee and the Local Government Committee. He is also a member of the Public Policy, Roads and Transportation, and Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development committees and the Committee on Joint Rules.

As a legislator, Johnson has focused on supporting transit, increasing educational attainment and addressing road safety issues.

Blake also owns a small consulting firm focused on strategic communications.


He and his wife, Natalie, live in the Fletcher Place neighborhood near downtown with their son, Len, and their dogs, Jack and Roe.

Earl Harris, Jr.

State Representative Earl L. Harris, Jr., was first elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 2016. He represents Indiana House District 2, which is within Lake County. 

Harris serves as Assistant Democratic Floor Leader and as ranking Democrat on the House Roads and Transportation Committee. He is also a member of the Ways and Means and Government and Regulatory Reform committees.

On Nov. 20, 2018, Rep. Harris was named Vice Chair of the Indiana Black Legislative Caucus.

Harris is the founder and owner of a television and video production company, Motivation Media, that produces marketing and communication videos for clients and programming for broadcast television networks. He has received two Emmy nominations for programming produced for FOX Sports Midwest. Harris has also produced programming for other networks, including PBS, and has served as talent in commercials and videos.
