We unpack how an eleven-day journey became forty years and why our schedules often repeat the same loop. Four practical keys help us redeem time, seize kairos moments, and align daily choices with what lasts.

• the Exodus loop as a mirror for wasted time
• screen time, reruns, indecision and hidden drains
• numbering our days with humility and clarity
• trusting God’s hand over our times and seasons
• redeeming kairos opportunities instead of stalling
• four keys: audit and align, seize moments, live eternally, guard focus
• routines that anticipate fatigue and make good choices easy
• pruning good things to make room for God things
• choosing presence with God, family, service and calling

Exodus, Circles, And Wasted Years

SPEAKER_01

This summer, I spent a lot of time in the book of Exodus. And it dawned on me that the children of Israel took a 11-day journey, but it took them 40 years. They had to die in the wilderness, and a new Joshua generation emerged. Think about the gravity of that for a moment. That's like if you ask your husband to put a table together. It's supposed to take him 11 days, but it takes you 40 years. And I was just pondering that. And I had this question that I asked, and I asked myself, I said, but wasn't it God that was leading the children of Israel in the wilderness? And it was. Remember, he was leading them by the cloud of day and the fire of pillar by night. And so if you really study the scriptures, God was leading them in a circle. And he led them in a circle for 40 years until a whole generation died. And the reason that he did that is because he wanted a Joshua generation to emerge. Hey, what's up, everybody? Welcome to another edition of Doing Life with Ken and Tabitha. We're so pumped to have you join us today. We believe we have an episode that's going to bring some life to you, give you perspective, and help you not waste your most precious commodity, your most valuable asset, which is your time. Today's episode is called Four Keys to Stop Wasting Time and Make Every Day Count. And this is what I believe that time is your most precious commodity. Come on. It's the gift that God has given us that He's not in because He's eternal. But man, we're in this human body. We're in the earth, and time is our most precious commodity. That second can't get it back. That second can't get it back. And so time should not be wasted. It should be stewarded. And so can you unpack with me, sweetheart? What how do you feel about time? Do you feel like it's your most precious commodity? Or are there some things that you've learned to steward the time and redeem the time? What is your perspective on it?

SPEAKER_06

I've learned to, yes, I agree with all of that that time is precious. You don't get time back. Um, and in this life, this is the only time that we experience time. You know, like we in our next life, in eternity, there's no time. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

The scripture says it this way: a thousand days is like a day to the Lord, and a day is like a thousand days. So he's outside of time. But to us, time is a precious gift. And the Bible gives specific instructions about how to redeem time and steward it well. And so, how do you feel like people waste time?

Everyday Time Wasters We Excuse

SPEAKER_06

Ooh, we it I mean, I I've been on myself about this, about wasting time because I have goals. And I said some things, like if I'm working on something, why waste time, you know, scrolling through Instagram? Yeah. Or why waste time? I social media isn't my fit place where I waste time. I waste time like um uh watching TV or um listening to reruns of, you know, a different world, Netflix. Yeah. I like um I got into some projects over the summer. And um while I was working on these projects, I'd let these reruns of a different world play, right? And I mean, nothing wrong with it, like whatever. But I found out that at the end of the summer, then I'm going back to my regular life that I started to almost like crave crave, like reruns of a different world. Like I was craving, like, oh, I want to, I wonder what Whitley's doing right now. Let me go see what Dwayne Wayne is doing.

SPEAKER_01

Like for those of you all who don't know the reference, Different World was a show that came out in the maybe late 80s, early 90s, 80s into 90s, yeah. And so she's watching something talking about what is worth.

SPEAKER_05

It's nostalgic for me, you know. Like it takes me back to like high school years.

SPEAKER_01

Why would you put that over in the category of wasting time though?

SPEAKER_06

It was a waste of time.

SPEAKER_01

What would you rather do?

SPEAKER_06

I could have been listening to things um learning about my finances. I should have been, I could have been listening because that's another project that I was wanting to learn more about investing and things like that. I could have filled my mind up with those things and learned about that instead of thinking about what Dwayne Wayne and Whitley's doing, you know?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Um, I could have learned more about, you know, prophecy. I could have learned more about walking in love. I could have listened to one of my favorite preachers. Anything.

Screen Time, Busyness, And Stewardship

SPEAKER_01

Listen, this topic is so important because if you really look at our screen time and you see how much downtime. Now we live in a society where people are like, I just don't got time. I just don't got time. And actually, you got more time than what you think. Right. And I don't know if you've ever done this before. Have you ever done a TV fast or media fast or something like that, like a cell phone fast? You would be amazed of how much time you have that you actually waste. You'll get home from work five. If you work late, maybe six, and then from six to like 10, you're like, what am I gonna do with my life? I mean, like every day you have all of this time, but many times it's just you're watching something, you're doing something, and you're not really stewarding the time. And I would just, I would say this that when you waste time, you waste your life. Because all your life is, is moments that's piled upon each other that makes up your life. And so we want to talk today about maximizing every moment. We want to talk to you about not wasting time. We want to talk to you about not wasting time because when you waste your time, you actually waste your life. And I jotted down 25 ways that people waste time today: scrolling endlessly on social media, binge watching shows or movies, playing video games excessively, constantly checking notifications and emails, watching or listening to gossip content online, getting lost in YouTube, TikTok, rabbit holes, endless web surfing with no purpose, overconsumption of sports and news channels, lack of planning, living reactively instead of proactively, procrastination, putting off what needs to be done, multitasking instead of just focusing leads to less productivity, overcommitment to too many good things, not god things, spending hours in indecision. We call it analysis paralysis, disorganized living, wasting time looking for things, lose your phone, your keys, every day, ATM card, maintaining toxic or draining friendships, unequally yoked together in romantic relationships, long gossip sessions to tear other people down, arguing over trivial matters, especially online. Oh my God, that is a waste of time. Comparing your life to the life of somebody else, wearing and replaying what ifs in your head, dwelling on past mistakes instead of moving forward, harboring unforgiveness or bitterness, daydreaming without action, complaining instead of problem solving, and this is my favorite one neglecting time and with God, prayer, word, worship while filling days with busyness. I'm busy, I'm busy, I'm busy, I'm busy. But are you productive? Are you purposeful?

SPEAKER_06

That's so good. That busyness, um, as a mom, you can be busy, busy, busy, busy. And what I've found is that I can create, you know, more busyness for myself. Yeah, I can create more things to do. Yeah, like you know, oh, I think I'll go out and build a garden today. Yeah, I didn't have to do that. I didn't have to create that. I think I'm gonna just bake some cookies and give it out to all of the neighbors today. That's a good thing, but man, I'm tired. And that probably wasn't the God thing.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking from experience here.

SPEAKER_06

So there's a lot of things that like I desire to do because like I love people, or you know, it's that never, you know, sometimes you have to say no to people. You don't have to go to every baby shower, you don't have to go to every birthday party because you'll you just can't do it all.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, this summer I spent a lot of time in the book of Exodus. And I was just researching and studying the book of Exodus. I spent like months just studying this one book in the Bible. And it dawned on me that the children of Israel took a 11-day journey, but it took them 40 years, and they had to die in the wilderness, and a new Joshua generation emerged. It just settled in my heart like, oh my goodness, it took them 40 years to accomplish something that should have been done in 11 days. Think about the gravity of that for a moment. That's like if you ask your hub husband to, I don't know, put something together, put a table together, and it's supposed to take them 11 days, but it takes you 40 years. And I was just pondering that, and I had this question that I asked, and I asked myself, I said, but wasn't it God that was leading the children of Israel in the wilderness? And it was. Remember, he was leading them by the cloud of day and the fire of pillar by night. And so if you really study the scriptures, God was leading them in a circle. And and he led them in a circle for 40 years until a whole generation died. And the reason that he did that is because he wanted a Joshua generation to emerge. And my thought for those of you all who are watching and listening is that is this could God be leading you in circles in your life until something in you dies? And so many times when we're in a season of life where it feels like we're not getting ahead and we're spinning our wheels and we're not getting where we want to, could it be that God has been leading you in circles until something in you dies, until unbelief dies, unforgiveness dies, perversion dies, unfre unforgiveness dies. And some people think it's the devil. The devil's been attacking me, and actually it's God that's been leading you because he will not let you go into the promised land with too much Egypt in you. And so when I think about the story of the children of Israel, and it took them 40 years to accomplish something that should take 11 days, it's a story of a bunch of people wasting time.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

And I don't want to be destined for great purpose, but die in a place that I never accomplish it because I'm wasting time. They were wasting their time building a golden image. They were wasting their time murmuring and complaining against set leadership. They're wait-do you know how many people waste their time? You are wasting your calling, wasting your anointing, wasting, wasting your gifting with wrong people, wrong conversations, online, watching stuff that does not edify the soul, worried about things that happened to you years ago, stuck in trauma of the past, hurts habits and hangups. Do you know how many people are wasting time? And when you waste your time, you waste your life, and we want to help you steward time better.

SPEAKER_06

Yikes. You know, I thought you said that, you know, they were walk going around in the wilderness, um, waiting for something to God was waiting for something to die, like all of the, you know, pride, selfishness, and and you know No, he was literally waiting on them to die. Literally waiting on them to die.

SPEAKER_01

The whole generation had to die.

SPEAKER_06

I I began to think, you know, you also said waiting for the Joshua generation to emerge.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And sometimes I think, you know, when we're wasting time going around and around, like maybe God is waiting for something to emerge in us, waiting for us to rise up.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

Honesty, Community, And Numbering Days

SPEAKER_06

I honestly believe, and I think I have scripture to back me up, that if the children of Israel rose up and repented and said, God, oh my gosh, what have we done that the Lord would have made a way for them? That's his character, that's his pattern, that's what he's done all along. But nobody rose up. They just continued to waste time. And I feel like right now, also, there's some people that are watching and they've been going around and around, doing the same thing, the same thing, and they're waiting for God to do something, but God is waiting on them.

SPEAKER_01

This is a word for today for somebody who's watching in the chat in the comment very quickly. Be honest today, where you've been wasting time. And any of those things that I gave you, where you've been wasting time. What is it? What is the Holy Spirit just kind of showing you in your heart right now? Maybe it's a relationship, maybe it's a job that you that you took that you thought was God, but it's just good, it's not God. Maybe it's a another um ambition, maybe it's something that you're trying to build and you've been working at it and working at it, but you know that you're spending your wills on it. What areas of your life? Just put it in the chat. We just want to have a community where we're just talking and we're communing and saying, hey, this is where I am. Y'all pray for me. Because I think there's a lot of people that's going to be honest and also pray for each other in our comment section. But I don't know. I made up my mind and I'm not gonna waste my time. You know, Psalms 90 and 12, tell me what you think about this. It says, Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Teach us to number our days. What sticks out to you from that?

SPEAKER_06

Um, the teach us to number our days. To me, I kind of take that is to know that our days are numbered.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

And to not take today for granted.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

You only have a little bit of time. So do what you can now before you don't have time.

My Times Are In Your Hands

SPEAKER_01

You know, the most interesting part to me of Psalms 90 that I just read is who said it. And do you know who said or who who spoke that? And it's the only verse in Psalms that's accredited to Moses. Do you know who Moses was? He was the one that was leading the children of Israel in the wilderness. So he knows what it's like to see a group of people waste their time. Even Moses, he wasted some time. He died in the wilderness. And so, as a person later in his life, he speaks this. He says, Teach us to number our days. Wow. That word teach us is so significant because it's it's a position of humility. What he's saying is like, God, please, we can't do this without your help. We're gonna waste days. We're gonna waste our time because the society is set up really for us to waste time, taking our kids to track practice and karate and and all of these things. And I got to be involved with this HOE meeting, this PTA meeting. The system is set up for you to get to the end of your life and say, What happened? Man, that went so fast. Teach us to number our days. We need the help of the Lord to be able to do that, to give value to our days. That word number comes from a Hebrew word mana, which means to count carefully. That means that I don't want to waste any of my life. I don't want to waste moments in hatred. I don't want to waste it in bigotry. I don't want to waste moments in perversion. I don't want to waste moments watching pornography. I don't want to waste moments in corrupting my soul. Teach us to number our days.

SPEAKER_06

That's so good. I think I love what you said about, you know, even like in society and families and parents, we're always on to the next thing. Like we are we taking time to cherish the moment and and cherish the day. I beg like you you were talking about like track practice and all of these things that as parents we do to kind of busy our days. But if I were to add up the number of activities that we have three kids.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And if I think of like with each child, like the number, like there was ballet, there was volleyball, there was basketball, there was soccer, there was rhythmic gymnastics, there was gymnastics, there was no more. There was ninja warrior, right? There was what what else? I mean, there's track, weight lifting, like swimming.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, uh-huh.

SPEAKER_06

Uh like there's so many things. I'm like, oh my gosh, yeah. That's how you get busy in life. Yeah. And and you know, you're having kids, and it's like, okay, you got holidays coming, you got jobs coming, you got deadlines, you're doing all of these things, and before you know it, 10 years have gone. And that's what happened in the in the wilderness. Before they knew it, 40 years went by.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, 40 years. And so teach us the number of our days is like um for me, it's a principle to live by. I'm actually trying I'm I'm doing that right now. Every day I'm getting up and I'm saying, Lord, today is a day that I treasure. This is a day you've made. Now teach me how to steward this day. I choose joy in advance, no matter what comes my way. And I just feel like it's a good place to approach. So I'm 40 um 48 now, right? I don't know how old am I. 47?

SPEAKER_06

I don't know how old you are either.

SPEAKER_01

I think I'm 48.

SPEAKER_06

You're grown. That's what you want to do. That's how old you are. You're grown.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I'm 48. And so, but I don't want to waste any moments of my life at this stage of my life. You know, I don't want to go back and say, oh my God, how did I get to 58? Where did that 10 years ago? Because there's been spans of my life where it's been like, oh man, we started a church and that just took a decade.

SPEAKER_06

We don't know what happened between 30 to 40.

Redeeming Time And Kairos Moments

SPEAKER_01

I don't remember that decade. Lord, teach me the number my days. Psalm 31 and 14, it says, But I trust in you, Lord. I say, You're my God. My times are in your hands. Deliver me from the hands of my enemies from those who pursue me. The psalmist says, My time is in your hands. My time is in your hands.

SPEAKER_06

I love the Lord and um I always just pray for Him to supernaturally just kind of help me with time. You know, like Why is that?

SPEAKER_01

Because you feel like you don't steward it well.

SPEAKER_06

Like, I always need more time. And um, you know, throughout the years, you know, I've studied time. I've studied being in the presence of God. And almost being in the presence of God, there's a, you know, at times I felt like time stood still. Like there was this supernatural, just like um where I was in, I know I was in the presence of God for like, you know, hours in the presence of God, but come to find out, it was just maybe like 30 minutes. And I feel like there's something special with time that, you know, God can bend time, God can change time, God can do anything. So um I remember reading a book uh one time in um like a Bible school, and um it talked about time and how um, you know, the closer it just naturally, if you took a a spaceship, got in a spaceship and went toward the sun, the closer you got to the sun, the more time slows and the more time stands still. And so he was making the um the comparison is that that is like God. With time, with God, there is no time. But the closer you get to light or the sun, um, the the more time stands still.

SPEAKER_01

I think it might have been the speed of light.

SPEAKER_06

The speed you're you're right. It was the speed of light.

SPEAKER_01

Speed of light. Um but God is light. Yeah, and God is light. When we're in Bible school, they were making the illustration that the more time you spend with God who is light, the more time slows down, and you can actually get more done that way.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. And so I kind of like took that as a principle, like young in my Christian life, um, to say, you know, to help me manage my time and value my time, I'm gonna spend time with God.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. What I like about Psalms 31 again is who said it. Just like the first one we read, um, it was by Moses. This one, of course, is by David. And um, this is when David is being persecuted. This is when David is being, his life is being sought for, and people are trying to take away his life. And so he says, My time is in your hands. Deliver me from the hands of my enemies. And so, hands in the Hebrew simply means power and control. So, what he's saying is like, no matter what I go through in my life, if I live, I'm in your hands, if I die, I'm in your hands. If I'm persecuted, I'm in your hands. If I'm in the palace, I'm in your hands, if I'm in a cave of a dullum, I'm in your hands. It doesn't matter what season I'm in, my time, my seasons. That word time there is from the word ETH in the Hebrew that comes from Ecclesiastes 3 where it says, Um, my time and seasons, there's nothing new under the sun. Uh, you know, the times and seasons are in the hands of God. So basically, my seasons are in your hand. Every moment that I have is in the hand of God. And so I love it that David mentions this in a time of great pain and persecution, that he's saying, I trust you, Lord. So that's basically a psalm saying that no matter what I go through, I trust you, because my seasons are in your hand. And I think it's very powerful when you look at it like that. You know, there's another scripture that I have here in Ephesians 5 and 15, and it says, See then that you walk circumspectedly, and that simply means carefully, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. Redeeming the time because the days are evil. Redeem means to buy up, to rescue from loss, to make the most of every opportunity. And the word time here is the word kairos. You know how the word time is either chronic or kairos, chronos where we get days, months, years, chronological time, kairos, or divine moments and appointments of God. So it's basically saying to buy up or rescue, or to make the most of every kairos divine opportunity.

Four Keys To Stop Wasting Time

SPEAKER_06

So when it says that redeeming the time, how would we therefore redeem the time?

SPEAKER_01

We would make the most of every opportunity, specifically God moments. So let's say that, let's say um a live conference. For many people, that's a kairos moment, meaning that you don't want to be somewhere else when you should be in that moment. And that's a kairos moment. Don't mismanage that moment because well, I gotta work and uh I I got a stuffy nose and you know all kinds of different things. It's a kairos moment. And there's something about maximizing the kairos moments. Don't waste that opportunity.

SPEAKER_06

It's like if I have a dollar and I go and buy a product with that dollar, I almost I am redeeming the dollar with that product. Right. That's what I got. Right now, if a live conference is Friday night at seven o'clock, I can redeem my time at a live conference that Kairo where I would have that Kairos moment, or I can redeem my time sitting on the couch. That wouldn't be the proper redemption of time. You can redeem it by the kairos moment. You can waste it by sitting on the couch.

SPEAKER_01

I think that's the alternative.

SPEAKER_06

You're either wasting it or you're redeeming it.

SPEAKER_01

You're redeeming it. And I don't know, I like the definition of redeem to buy up and to rescue from loss as well, because it makes me feel like almost I'm getting something back. You know, I think that there's many years that we've wasted time. Wrong relationships, wrong belief systems. Let me just talk about me. For 10 years I lived as a Christian atheist, halfway in the church, halfway out. I want to redeem that time. I want to rescue, I want to buy it back, and I want to seize every opportunity that God's given me. I'm not wasting a moment. I'm not wasting a moment.

SPEAKER_06

That is so good.

SPEAKER_01

And I like the next part, it says because the days are evil. And what that means is that the cultural environment is hostile. Opportunities can easily be lost if they're not seized. And that's why we say, what happened to 10 years? Life happened.

SPEAKER_04

Right.

SPEAKER_01

That's why there are many people they get to the end of their life and it just felt like I just was 20 yesterday and now I'm 60. What happened? Well, the natural environment is causing us to live life without intentionality and purpose. And if you're not intentional with your time, you are automatically wasted because we're in a fallen world. So we have to get hold of time and say, do my kids need to be involved in all those activities? Maybe so, or maybe not. Do I need to be involved in these HO meetings, HOA meetings? Maybe so, maybe not. Do I really need to be taken getting a master's degree right now or a PhD? Is that just for me or is that to glorify God? Maybe so, or maybe not. When you understand redeeming the time, you're gonna seize all of those opportunities without wasting them because the environment's hostile. Anything else sticks out to you on that?

SPEAKER_06

No, I got a revelation. I'm ready.

SPEAKER_01

So the big idea is this time is limited, a perishable resource. You either redeem it for God's purposes or the world will consume it in evil or that which is natural. So I'm gonna give you guys four keys to stop wasting time and make every day count. If you're ready, in the comments, just say I'm ready. Okay. And some of these are going to be like just a mix of some biblical versus just natural principles. Number one, you gotta audit and align your life. Audit and align your life. Regularly evaluate relationships, habits, media, and commitments. Ask, does this move me closer to God's purposes or does it distract me from God's purposes?

SPEAKER_06

That's really good. And you should do that probably frequently, at least once a year, maybe twice a year, maybe quarterly.

SPEAKER_01

Definitely, 100%. Number two would be seize kairos moments. Don't delay obedience when God opens a door. Small acts of faith today can change the course of your future.

Guarding Focus With Real Boundaries

SPEAKER_06

I think we l waste a lot of time waiting for things to happen instead of seizing the moment. You know, we're waiting for like magically things to just happen, or we sit around in an indecision. I have three choices here. I don't know which choice to make, so I'm gonna sit here. And I don't think God works like that most of the time. God works by you stepping out on faith. You make a decision. If you go through door one and it's not the right door, the Lord will let you know. It might slam in your face. Okay, I'll try door two now, right? And that might be the one, or it might slam in your face. But now you have three and you know that's the one if the other two close and there you are. But at least you didn't sit around in the wilderness roaming around because you don't know what decision to make. Seize the moment, just get up and do something.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so good. Yeah, I think about like, let's just say my life personally, I feel like I have so many good things that I can do that it tries to distract me from the God thing because there's just so many good things. It's not like back in the day when I had like two or three decisions. Now I got two or three thousand opportunities, doors, invites, podcasts, books, authors, deals, so forth and so on. Now it's about being still enough to discern what's good and what's God.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

And so right now I'm in a process where I'm just saying, um, because I get invited to conferences and come here or come there. I'm asking God, is that a Kairos moment for me? Yeah, it would be good that I go play golf, but is that where I'm supposed to be? Yeah, it would be good that I go to that funeral or I go to that church or I go to that conference, but is that where God wants me to be? And then if it's a yes, that's where God wants me to be, I walk into it now saying, God, what's that one divine connection of why you've sent me here? And I have to be very intentional. And um, maybe there's people here here that need to hear that as well. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_06

Those are nuggets.

SPEAKER_01

Number three is live with an eternal perspective. Value what will matter 10 years from now and an eternity more than temporary comfort. Invest your time in things that outlast you faith, family, service, and calling. That's huge. Not living with a temporal, but an eternal perspective.

SPEAKER_06

And I think that also um means not living by your feelings. Yeah. Because sometimes the feelings are are momentary. The feelings are gonna come and they're gonna go. But if you can override your feelings and do the right thing, do the thing that is going to benefit you not just now, but five days from now and five years from now, right? Uh just keeping our feelings in check.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's so good. So for me, my time, my God time in the morning is unnegotiable. Meaning that that's an eternal thing that I do. My relationship with God, intimacy with God, the presence of the Lord, quality time with God, that is so important to me. It is something that I make time for. I don't care what's happening in my life. Amen. That's very important to me. That's like living with an eternal perspective. So I try to put everything that is spiritual that has has me live a God first life first in my calendar. And then I build everything else around that. What other people do is they get their calendar filled with all of these natural things, and then they say, Well, I ain't got time for God. Living God first switches the priority. Number four is guard your heart and focus. Guard your heart and focus. You got to set boundaries with time thieves, toxic people, digital overload, negative thought patterns, protect the main thing so your energy is spent on what matters most. And so if you want to be a person who redeems the time, you got to guard your heart and your focus. Anything stick out to you from that one?

SPEAKER_06

No, I think just being intentional. Guarding your heart means that you have to be intentional. So if you know that, you know, you are going to want to come home from work and you're gonna be so exhausted that you're just gonna want to sit in front of the TV and just let the TV minister to you. Um set up safeguards, do something else, you know, make another plan, you know, have, you know, uh come outside. There are times where I'm like, I need to fit exercising into my day, but I know once I get home, I'm not exercising. So I brought my clothes to work. When I was done with work, I went to the bathroom, I changed my clothes, I worked out. I I used I was a runner. So I would run a couple of miles, then get in my car and go home with my workout clothes on, take a shower, and then handle my business. Why? Because I know what I'm I was redeeming my time. I knew what my flesh is like. I know, you know, I'm self-aware enough to know that no, I want to make the best of this moment. So I'm not even gonna let myself.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Well, that's why I work out in the morning and I spend time with God in the morning. Because I know that I'm gonna be so tired by the end of the day. Right. I don't wanna, I don't wanna lie to myself. And like, well, you'll do that at the end of the day. I probably won't.

SPEAKER_04

Right.

SPEAKER_01

So even like a day like today, I've been up since probably 5:30 a.m. We've um done podcasting, and uh, you know, towards the end of the day, I wasn't able to get it in. I already knew that that's gonna be a battle. I chose today that I'm gonna work out later, but I know me for the most part, 98% of the time, I'm not doing that because I know I just gotta do that in the front of my day because it's important to me. And that's just one way that I don't waste time. And so um, man, we hope that this helped you guys. You know, we want to help you redeem the time. We want to help you not waste any time.
