Trapped By The Programming - Social Influence
You get programmed from the moment you are born. From your first breathe till your last, you will live in a world that has a message to share. Society is a bundle of ideas that have ben infused together to create a functioning system. This system ensures survival and cooperation. The message behind the system needs to be one that helps the survival of the system, if it was any different, the system would fail. People are the code that make the system work, without the right code the computer crashes.
The message must influence the people to do the things that keep society ticking, as long as they are programmed in the right way, they will do the actions that keep society progressing. With each generation, technological advancements and progress in human intellect means that the message slightly differs, like a human, society evolves.
Evolution is a process of fine tuning. Over years of adaption the being that has evolved becomes more efficient. Learning new ways to adapt to its environment to ensure its own survival. Think of society as a living creature, eveything that goes on in the world is an experiment so it can fine tune itself for survival. What works gets reinforced, what doesn’t dies.
Social media, junk food, the rat race. All experiments by this living organism called society. It gets real time feedback seeing what works. What keeps people indoctrinated into the to message that ensures my own survival. Ideas infiltrate the mind of a human and they manifest them in reality. This manifestation gets introduced the masses, they adopt or neglect. What gets adopted feeds into the message of society.
Can you see how everything works under the rule of evolution, it’s a universal law.
You are programmed
This means that from the moment you are born you have been programmed. You have been subconsciously told what to want, how to behave and what to do. You have a map and compass, and are free to go wherever you please. But the terrain and method of transportation have been made for you. You feel like you have free will, freedom of mind, but every thought, every desire, every attachment has been born out of the indoctrination into society.
I am not judging here, you must first be trapped to escape. I am in the process of waking up myself. Still half asleep, I bang into walls and injure myself, but slowly I’m finding my way out of the cage I was in prisoned in. With every step, freedom and autonomy becomes more apparent, so all I can do is keep pressing forward.
I just ask that you consider doing the same. Wake up to your own mind. The true potential of a human is not to be caged in by desires that have been casted upon us. There must be a collective upgrade in consciousness, to work towards a system that doesn’t keep us enslaved in unnecessary desires. If and how this is possible alludes me, but I know for a fact it starts with individuals.
Start to question your own mind. just like a society, the ego is a conceptual being that we have bought into. The ego is the brother of society, bound together by blood, they work to ensure survival. Both society and the ego are closely connected, our ego is created under the rules of the code society provides. The societal code was made from the minds of humans, therefore the ego created a system that trapped itself in.
The ego is essential for life and so is society in some case, they are beautiful creations that have progressed humans forward since their birth. But the moment we wake up to the traps we are caged in by, the moment we can find freedom and escape unnecessary suffering.
