Season 2 Episode 4: When You're a Motherless, now Fatherless Daughter and Death is Complicated with Kerry Speckman
Kerry Speckman, a writer, podcaster and pink-everything extraordinaire in Jacksonville FL, knows a thing or two about parental loss and how complicated and emotionally challenging that can be -- no matter your age. Her mother died when she was 14 and her father passed away just last year. Coping with the death of a parent, and all the heavy baggage associated, is multidimensional for everyone -- but can be particularly difficult when you're what they call "Motherless," and in Kerry's case, "Fatherless" as well. Kerry shares her story on this front and talks about how she navigated all the things. We can all learn a lot from Kerry's strength, good humor and real talk.
