Welcome to The First Step, a podcast series dedicated to understanding the process of going from an idea to reality. Getting an idea off the ground takes a lot of work. It is shrouded in insecurity—both mental and physical. I aim to break the narrative stigma that things are challenging and should not be attempted. Inspired by the saying: a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I will speak to founders of businesses, charities and everything in between to understand how they started with an idea and transformed it into a product, community or service.
