In chapters 11-16 of "The Cruel Prince" by Holly Black, Jude's efforts to gain power and respect in the faerie court continue, as she finds herself drawn into a plot to overthrow the current king. Jude sees this as an opportunity to finally have the power she craves, but she must navigate treacherous alliances and betrayals to make it happen. The stakes are high as the faerie court heads towards a reckoning, and Jude must use all of her wit and cunning to survive.
