Have you ever noticed how your brain becomes an absolute genius the moment you try to level up? It doesn’t tell you to quit. Instead, it offers you an escape hatch disguised as logic: "I’ll do it tomorrow," "I just need more research," or "I'm too burned out today."

As long as you give yourself a safety net, your subconscious mind will choose comfort over growth every single time.

In this episode, we are talking about the uncomfortable reality of high-discipline execution: removing choices entirely. If you want to stop fighting your own mind, you have to stop giving it options. By systematically stripping away your mental escape hatches, modern luxuries, and passive safety nets, you create an environment where execution is the only default behavior left standing.

Yo, it's your main man Rahim Rasiel, man. Today, you are not disciplined, man. You are not undisciplined. You are not the person that you are trying to not be. You feel me? You are not him. You feel me? Like you don't lack motivation. You feel me? You don't lack being undisciplined. You feel me? You don't lack that. You dig today. I'm gonna tell you why the things that you procrastinate on, why you do it sometimes by default. Like, why is that your natural biology? You feel me? Like, why is that something that you naturally go ahead and sit back into? You dig? This is something I went over weeks ago, but this is something in another from another angle, you feel me? Because discipline comes so many ways. So man, let's get right into it. Let's learn together today once again. Let's tell us why we what self-sabotage ourselves, why we always pulling ourselves down and not doing the things that we need to do. You feel me? So here you go. At core, self-sabotaging isn't a flaw in your character, right? It's a feature of your what biological self, right? Your biological survival programming. Like this is how you what was biologically made. You you know you want to keep yourself safe biologically, right? Like your subconscious mind has one primary detective, right? Directive. Keep you alive. That's it. This is all your subconscious mind is trying to do, keep you alive. You ain't worried about it's around his best not to hurt you, harm you, put you in no type of um sense of urgency, right? Because like back in the caveman days, the brain didn't um it it it the motherfucker didn't worry about being happy, being fulfilled, you feel me? Or building a successful business. One thing about that hell, no. They was thinking about what trying to get through the to the next day, right? Stand standing in predictable territory, but they know ain't no animals there. Well they know ain't nobody finna come bite them in the ass at. You feel me? Well they know this is where the tribe is. So this is what a tribe is, this is where I'm standing at. You feel me? Like familiarity equals safety. So whatever you're familiar with most of the times, you're gonna be what doing it. You're gonna be on it more. You're gonna wanna go ahead and not do it because this is what you usually do. So, but the smart thing and the best thing, knowing that you a human, right? So you can what the same thing they did, you can revamp your thinking, you can revamp your subconscious, you can revamp how you're moving and how you're grouping, right? And this is a part of life. This is a part of how you gotta think about things. Like, okay, if I go, if if Dag were doing this, I can do something different. You feel me? Like, that's that's the power of human brain. You can always do something different, you can always feel a different way about how others feel about people, about things, you can feel different about it. So that's how we all are built, it's how we all are born. So we can put this in our we can make ourselves do this. You feel me? We can break through that wall of being subconscious mind being this way to allow our conscious mind to allow our subconscious mind to reprogram it, right? And this is psych-um, this is the psychology of it. Why growth feels like danger, right? Your subconscious mind functions like your thermostat, it establishes a baseline comfort zone, a set point for your income, stress levels, health, or success, and works around the clock to maintain it. So this saying, if if your income like this, you you damn near you're gonna keep it like this forever. You feel me? This is how you used to make money, this is this how you want to keep it almost forever. You feel me? Like, if your stress level's been like this, your stress level's been like this forever. And your if your hip like this, you've been big forever, it's gonna be you're gonna be big forever. And if you've been successful your whole life, you're gonna be successful. But we know what we can all change that around. You feel me? Like, but your body is working around the clock to maintain how you, you know, your your money status like this. Your body is working around the clock to maintain your stress level like this. This is something you've been doing for years. If you didn't what change it, if you didn't fix it, your health been like this for years, you didn't have you never decided to change your weight. You feel me? You never broke through that barrier, something and just change everything. You kept on allowing what comfort to make you procrastinate, comfort to allow you to not do it, comfort to allow you to go to sleep, comfort to allow you to scroll on your phone. Like you got triggers. And today we're gonna talk about triggers the more we get into this subject, right? Like when you attempt to grow, whether that's launching a newer exit, um, setting a stricter boundaries at work or stepping into a higher level of performance, you push past the baseline. Like you gotta do that, right? Because it's telling you right here, you got the subconscious mind and the predictable and the miserable. This is gonna equal what safety and known outcome, like predictable and miserable, like those go together, right? If it's predictable, like you you dread certain shit, you become miserable, you feel me? But this is the what safe zone for you. You know this job is gonna keep the bills paid. You know this job is gonna help you um be able to do such and such. You feel me? But you miserable there. If you want to say you hate your job and you and you know you hate it, come on now. You feel me? You gotta push past that and get past that. Okay, let me find something else that I I can like. You feel me? I can find myself like this. Is everybody doing, but you gotta find your brain power, your willpower to maneuver through this because new and successful it is what it's dangerous. You feel me? The outcome is unknown. You feel me? Like, you don't know to what it's gonna bring to try to even do this. So your brain, like, rather sit back and go to work all day and be complaining about this for 70 years, 60, 50 years. Like, you ain't try nothing. Like, just keep trying. While you go to work, just keep trying. You feel me? You use your job as what the investment property. This is where I where I get money. Do I invest it or do I, you know, or do I stay broke? Do I have to come right back here? Like, it's all on you. You feel me? Like the moment you cross into the unknown, your subconscious interprets the occupying certainty as a literal physical threat. It doesn't distinguish between the discomfort of public speaking or scaling a business or in a danger. To force you back into safety, it fires off an immediate counteraction: anxiety, procrastination, imposter syndrome, self-doubt. So soon as you say you finna do some shit. Well, mm-mm. Well, if the excuses it, the brain go looking for them bitches. Uh-uh. I don't think I can do that. Nah, hell no, bro. You know you're not that, you you not that nigga. Like, you know, you had these thoughts, you feel me, of the procrastination, like, man, I can I can do it tomorrow. Or that desire to hit, like, oh, hell no, uh uh, I ain't got time for that right now. That's too much on me right now. No, my brain, you feel me? And that's your what biological survival method kicking back in. Once you see that bitch kicking in and you know you got to get some shit done today, man, get out the door. Because you only gotta survive today. This is why I be getting through the day, y'all. I when I get I know I gotta run today. I got the whole day to run. I got 10 minutes in me. You feel me? I got the whole day to read, I got five minutes in me. You feel me? I can go read me a paragraph, I can go do me a push-up just for the day. You feel me? You don't gotta push it every day. That's how you get yourself not wanting to do it. If you don't do something every day, it's because you don't want to push yourself every day. You don't want to be in that predicament where, oh, I'm steady going and I'm man, come on. You can be tired. I know you're tired of doing nothing. You might as well be tired from doing what? Something. You might as well be tired from doing things that you love to do. You might as well be tired from trying your best in life. You might as well be tired from doing something that was worth it, then being tired for some shit that you don't like, that only gave you a exchange of money. What about your feelings? What about your health? What about how you look when you go there? What about how you are treated when you go there? You dig? Like, it's it's it's all a factor in that that's overpowered money. You feel me? Like, you doing some shit, like you won't, if you tell yourself you like it, you're gonna keep on trying to tell yourself that you um don't like it or some shit, but you keep doing it, or you tricking your brain, so your brain gonna eventually what did so they gonna sit that as the program. This is what the program we don't like. We really do like this. We just tell ourselves we don't, but this is the program. If the program sit like this, this is how it's finna keep going forever and forever, forever. Like, no, hell no. And I see why, like, I used to think like, man, I'm lazy, but nah, it's a I'm lazy, it's my brain trying to rescue me, you know, it's trying to rescue me from perceived danger. Like, I'm going to a danger mode because I'm finna get on camera and talk to some people. Oh, what they gonna do? Man, people not even hopping in the comments yet. So I'm not worried about that. People, even they do, I'm not worried about that. So I know the negativity is gonna come, but I'm not thinking about that. I'm just thinking about okay, people gonna be motivated or uh you know, gonna have some this some um some some shit done after they you know hear crazy shit. You feel me? They're gonna go ahead and make that move on that little push-up, make them move on losing weight, make them move on getting more money, make that move, right? So once you make that move, man, you know you start auditing yourself, right? This is how you look at your your thoughts once again. You audit it, right? Track what you're thinking to break this loop, you have to drag your subconscious operation to the light of your conscious awareness. This is done through a cognitive audit. You feel me? Automatic thoughts are split. Second, knee-jerk internal narrative that's pop up when you have face a challenge. If you left unchecked, they dictate your behavior. Use this framework so you to audit them. First, you would catch the catch the trigger. Notice that the moment you hesitate or pull back or reach for their distraction, example, open up social media when you should be doing D work. Like, you know, soon as you open up that phone, I could have been running right now. Oh, I could have like everything you touch, that's uh part of your focus. So, like, okay, as soon as I grab some bullshit, no. You feel me? What I said yesterday, if you gotta, if you gotta some shit that make you procrastinate as soon as you finna go do some shit you want to go clean up and you want to go do some low leg activity, as soon as you see yourself doing it, mm-mm. Drag your body, set up the camera, set up the um, set up the TV, set up your weight thing, you feel me? Set your desk up soon as you see yourself doing it. Like, nah, you got five minutes is clean and shit, and we threw. We on this. You feel me? Because your body knowing what it be doing, nah, we're gonna lay your fat ass back into bed. Or you wanna, nah, right here, you can get your ass, get your big nose out. I talk to myself, right? You can get your ass over there and sit down. Hit the record button, period. Start. And like once you start, like it's easy now. Like I'm nine minutes in, and it's I can go all day right now, but just mouth and off though. But that's why I come to y'all with scripts now. I ain't coming to y'all no more with just talking off my ass or whatever. Because I like I like stuff lined up, so I'm I'm lining up my thoughts when then it's helped me when I'm able to line my thoughts up, right? And next thing is, man, ask yourself, what is the exact sentence my brain is telling me right now? Not to justify stopping. Example, I'm too tired to film today, or the market is already saturated. You feel me? Like, ask your brain, like, nigga, what? What you what you what you saying? We we we ain't got no time. Then the brain, like, yo, we do. We do, but shit, I'm trying to chill. Nigga, nah, get up. Go, go, go get that lap in. Go get some push-ups in. Go eat you a fruit. Go do something positive right quick. You know, earn your reward. Earn the TV. Don't just sit there and let it earn you. Like nigga, you can earn all your attention. You done get a TV a whole four hours a day with your kid now. You feel me? You letting your kids sit there and watch TV all day. Like, write down. Do do not like write it down. Do not do this in your head. Eternalize a thought on paper, scripts away the emotional power and turns it into objective data. Like, write it on paper. If you if that shit gets you that bad, like write, I wrote all my likes, all my don't likes on paper. What I wanna go, what I don't want to go, like just putting it on paper, it gives you the power now. You feel me? Like, you putting in some, or y'all know I'm a big writer, so everything that I do, I'm gonna try to write it off, put it out my mind. You feel me? I can go back and look at this data when I need to, right? So having it on your mind, it gives you that that mechanism that you need, right? So the hardest part of overcoming self-sabotage is the subconscious being incredibly clever. You feel me? Like that bitch smart. That subconscious mind, that bitch smart to you. Like your subconscious mind is the smartest person you know. You feel me? That motherfucker say, nah, I know this, I know this. If you a person who who, if you know a person that always know everything, they they don't know nothing. You feel me? Like, I'm the person, I'm gonna actually some shit I know. You you know, hey, you know how to do this, and I'm knowing how to do it, you feel me? But I gotta ask you just to what get your mental, get you how you see how you see it. You feel me? Because you may say something different. You feel me? Everybody don't see shit the same way. So the more ways I learn how to say it, is because I didn't what be have my ego in front of me. Like, man, I don't know. Nah, I know. Get back. I got it. Nah, hell no. You do it. If you know how to do it, bro, you can do it. Shit, you're straight. You feel me? Like, I'm I'm I'm that type of nigga. I don't gotta be the one that's in the front or doing it every time. Nah, y'all, no, you got it, bro. If you know how to do it better than me, especially. Go ahead. You feel me? So it addresses the up a logical um rational constraints. To break the cycle, man, you must learn to separate a genuine, a genuine constraint from a subconscious defensive maker. So you gotta know when something's really like, I really, this is impossible. Versus the subconscious saying, nigga, I'm trying to chill. I'm trying to chill, I'm trying to relax. My body hurt. Um, nigga, it don't hurt. We ain't even did not today. We ain't even went nowhere. You feel me? Like, your body gotta real life gotta be in in limp mode. Like for me to go to the hospital now, I gotta need surgery. I gotta need real immediate attention. I'm not going back in there, bitch, for no body ache, for no one day minor headache. No, I'm no. I got to be no hemorrhaging from somewhere. I gotta be something really got to be going on with me. I'm not going, no. I'm gonna eat some fruit. I'm finna go to sleep if anything. If I go to sleep and I'm still hurting, okay. May think about it. If I eat some fruit and I stop eating, I'm still hurting. And I may think about it. You feel me? But other than that, no, I'm not going in that bitch for them folks to sit me down for three hours or sit there with them. You be there with the whole shift with them folks for nothing. Man, hell no. So let's talk about the um abstract, the genuine physical contraint, right? This is the nature. Fix, absolute laws of reality, time, and physic, right? That's a genuine, that's a like this, this is genuine. Like this is something that really can't happen, right? But the uh flexible one is um flex uh is flexible, emotional, and a narrative-driven. So that means your subconscious mind is creating a narrative in this bitch, right? And your emotions is in this shit. So now you making everything flexible. You got so many excuses on your ass, your brain, like, yeah. Who went like it's like they going? It's like bad food and good food. When you're with good food going your body, it's competing with all the bad food. They're trying to get rid of the shit. But if it's too much of it, the bad food win. You done ate one plum today, but you done ate rotail and goddamn uh meatballs. Plenty of it. You feel me? You only ate one plum, though. You ain't nigga, you need to match, match. Come on now. Let's get some motherfucking watermelon here. Let's let's match up the energy in this bitch. You feel me? Let's balance this out. If anything, we gonna we ain't gonna gain, we ain't gonna lose today. Let's at least not lose. Let's at least make sure we it's a tie game with this bitch today. We ain't trying to get too big, we ain't trying to get too little, right? So the language, right? This is a genuine physical constraint. Concrete facts. There are 24 hours in a day. I have 50 stuff in in this budget. A subconscious defense, right? VODs, almost absolute statements. I don't have enough time and I'm not ready. You feel me? What the fuck? You feel me? Like, you see how you just see, all right, you just gave the whole day away. You got 24 hours. The other one, nigga, like we got 24. We just woke up, but we got time. You ain't even gonna make something happen. Um then you go through the emotion. Like, I can't say up nothing today. I ain't got no business. I can't. There you go. You didn't shut down all resorts by just giving up from the jump. You feel me? Like giving up saying that nah I can't do it. And this, and this is everybody, man. This is everybody because the the subconscious is always on fucking watch. That motherfucker knows everything. That's that's your smartest person you know. That's who make you believe people who tell you who bullshit. And even if they ain't bullshit, and it's oh they bullshit. You feel me? It's just because it's just because, right? So the solution is, man, this is another one, right? Solution requires um strategic resource allocation and pivoting. This is a um genuine physical restraint. Then this is the subconscious again, dissolves under the uh direct action or logical scrutiny. So that means soon some shit happens, oh no, new your brain go new, oh hell no. I don't do that. That ain't me. That I nah, we don't do that over here. You feel me? Your brain get the pivoting to some more shit. You feel me? But that's no way to be. There's no way to feel if you know damn well that you can do something. You can, but it's gonna take if it takes long, that's good. I like some long shit. Take me all damn day on it, that's good. That's that's perfect. That means it was worth it. If I took all day on, that means I was really locked in on it. Sometimes I get locked in like that. I can just sit here and just think and keep replanning some shit in my mind and writing it on paper. Like, the more I can get like that, the better I can see my my thoughts, see where I'm headed in life. Like, I want to know where I'm going every second of the day, where am I headed, right? So, another one, this is the attribute energy, right? And a genuine physical constraint is neutral, matter of a fact of reality. Alright? And the subconscious, heavy, anxious, defensive, and strangely comfortly. Like comforting. So this saying that if I don't know about this one, this is say your energy level. So your energy level is neutral and matter of fact of reality. And it says your defense mechanism, like I said, this shit is heavy. I'm anxious about it, and y'all get defensive about it, then so it's like saying just it's it's bringing all the wrong feelings. That's what it's love. It's saying to me. Like once you feel like a lot of shit bringing a lot of feelings, man, it's dead. Like you, your your your subconscious done won. You feel me? The defense mechanism didn't work. You ain't finna do nothing. You finna go lay down and now you ain't finna look for no job. You ain't finna look for no, you ain't finna look for the house you've been fan. You ain't finna save no money, you finna do what? Let the subconscious win. You finna go back into that level of income that you had, you finna go back to that level of health that you had, you finna go back into that level of energy that you had because you chose the wrong thing, and you let the defensive mechanism win, man. So, man, let's just get this out of our head, man. Let's just get this out of our body. I know this video was long, but it needed to be long today because today is a long day. Today is a good day. Today I was off today, but I still had to work in my car. Had to take the part off because I didn't put the gas on. But I think I'm gonna post it on my YouTube and show y'all how to how to put it, how to take it off. I didn't record how to put it on, but I recorded how to um take it off though. But it's anyway, I took I changed my double silenoid and my and my um single silenoid today. It's riding cool or whatever. But I'm still gonna let somebody else look at it just to make sure I did everything right. But I took it off myself though, because I if I can fix phones, I know I can fix a car. You feel me? Like them buttons, them damn screws on the car is small. I mean, on the on the phone is small, and boats and the ones on the car is big as hell. If you can take them boats off on the phone, oh you can do a car. You just gotta know how to get an angle in there. Now you have your whole body. See why people have their whole body in the car now? You gotta get up in there. I had my whole wrist up in there, like I was whipping some stuff, but I got it done though, man. But anyway, man, y'all get y'all's mind right today on this week, this every every day of y'all life, like watching this shit. Like, just put it in your brain, like, all right, let me go ahead and get my discipline lined up. Let me go ahead and get my mind lined up. Like, this is a person who is really gravitating to this. I'm not stopping this every day. It's Monday through Friday, and like I'm gonna get the weekend straightened out with y'all. And that's gonna be it. But right now, you just keep pick you just keep doing what you know till you break another wall, break another glass. You feel me? Break through another habit. Like, it's just breakthroughs, like every habit is just attached to the other habit. So, this habit is not gonna get as strong as the other habit is, quicker as the other habit is, but it's gonna get stronger. Just keep going, man. Y'all start playing your time, y'all start playing the like, man. If you have like any kind of way, man, y'all like, comment, and subscribe, man. Skill.
