Perfectionism is the ultimate habit killer. The moment life disrupts our routine, most of us fall into an all-or-nothing trap: if we can’t execute a habit perfectly, we abandon it entirely. But elite consistency isn't about never failing—it’s about how fast you recover.
In this episode, we unpack the power of the "Never Miss Twice" rule and why missing a single day is just an anomaly, but missing two days in a row is the birth of a brand-new bad habit. You’ll learn how to safeguard your identity when your schedule falls apart, shift your mindset toward minimum viable effort, and scale down your habits on tough days to keep the momentum alive—even if that means doing five push-ups instead of a full 45-minute workout.

Yo, it's your main man Rahim R man. Yesterday we was on consistency, man. Today we're gonna get on how to stack them and mac them and put them on the back 'em. Right? Every habit has some type of consistency or inconsistency. Every habit is stacked or it's not properly stacked, right? So today, man, we're gonna tell you how to reverse that, man. Because trying to forge a new behavior out of the thin air takes massive conscious effort. Your brain views a brand new task as a draw on a limited energy reserve triggering immediate friction. Like your brain is saying, I don't know what the fuck you're trying to teach me. But I'm tired. I need a break. I'm sleepy. I don't need this right now, right? So habit stacking bypasses this resistance by tapping into the neural wrong path with the already hard way. You feel me? Like I was talking about yesterday, man. We already doing this already. So let's stack, let's go ahead and make it consistent. Let's make it every day, all day. You dig today. I'm putting both of them together. Consistency and stacking, right? Like when you bypassing it, man, you tapping into new ways. You want to forcing your new gear into a machine. You are simply lashing on gear that's already spinning. To make it work without burning out, you must stack the follow two strict rules. Your your trigger habit must be unmistakable. Your new habit must be micro-sized. Meaning that. The morning routine, man. What I just say, get your ass up. Whatever habit you have in the morning. If it's making you a bowl of cereal, add to goddamn it, scratch. I make a bowl of scary cereal, then I scratch. Or I make me a hot cake while it's in the microwave, I got them get the what? Doing my scratches, doing my push-ups. You dig? Or while I got my my goddamn um my bagels or my goddamn biscuits in the oven, I'm finna go run for 10 minutes. You feel me? Like just getting something going, not just sitting there. Not because it's always something that you do once you start cooking. It's always something to do once you sit on that damn toilet. It's always you something that you do once you get in that car. It's always something you do once you go in that kitchen. So let me add something good to that. That's all it is, right? And the workday on a ramp stack, right? Focus on productivity. Opening your laptop. You feel me? If you feel opening a laptop, man, after I open my laptop, I will write my single first priority on the sticker note before opening an email or chat. So write your disc getting a habit with the computer. Like I'm gonna write everything down. You feel me? Email forces your brain to a reactive state. Stacking your priorities right before opening a message guarantees you to dictate your agenda before external demands take over. Before your mind gets the track about anything, you write the main thing down. Let's habit stack. Before this computer, let's make the right thing we want to computer for. To edit, to post. Okay, let's put that to the side. Let's put this to the side so I can see this. So my brain knows what we own first. Then we can go do the extra shit. Right? Then this is for the evening decompression stack, right? Focus sleep quality. Setting your phone alone for the um tomorrow morning. After I plug in my phone tonight, I will place it across the room and read two pages of a physical book. Simple. Just knowing. Two pages, one page, just I'm trying to read a little bit before I go to bed. I'm trying to get my brain working on some good, good project while I sleep. You feel me? Send your alarm, marks an official end of the day. Using the exact physical trigger to distance yourself from the screen removes the friction of stopping to of the late night scroll. Now you no longer scrolling and bullshit, right? So man, let's get these cues, man. Like let's talk, you know let's let's think about it. Let's do it. Let's let's make our sure that we on top of our thing, right? Like once you stack feels automatically, you can chain a behavior to the end. Anchor, brush your teeth, habit, drink water, have it number two, do 30 seconds of scratching. 30 seconds, man. You got this. You got this. The absolute rule to prevent trying out, only add one behavior to a stack at a time. That's it. Only add one behavior, one behavior at a time. Let the new link become solidified for two full weeks before appending another one. If the stack ever starts to feel heavy, shrink the new habit down until it feels laughable, easily to enjoy. And don't get no better than that. Once you then did some shit and now you it's it's locked in. After two weeks, now you can do this every day, forever. You feel me? So lock in a habit, lock in a routine. You feel me? Make it so easy that anybody can do it. Make it so easy that anybody can stack it. And stack it, what, just a little bit of a day. Stack it just a little bit at a time. Stack it so you can know. Hey, I'm gonna get everything to come with this habit because I'm giving it all I got. I'm giving it the best post. I'm giving it the best routine. So get a habit that thing that you know can drive it up and not down. Your habits are everything. You feel me? Your habits is like, it just like it's just like this is my house. Your habit is your house. Your house can only do so much. You feel me? Your habit, your head, your house got so many gadgets because it got so many habits. You feel me? Like your body is a machine and it's a creature of its environment, of its habits. You feel me? It's a creature of what's around it. So am I building my habits or am I deteriorating my habits? Am I making better habits that will help me in the future? Or am I got a bunch of habits that are just in the way, making me not want to do what I need to do, man? So think about that, man. Put it on your mind, put it on your life, man. Think about what habits do I have that I um need to stack, make better. You feel me? What habits am I trying to build? And habit, habit, habits. Let's be on your mind, man. My habits are fucked up, but either they're up there. Y'all start playing your time, y'all start playing with y'all like man. If you don't have any kind of way, man, y'all like y'all comment and subscribe.
