Shadow Work; Transcending My Darkness
Shadow work is a spiritual practice that enables a person to view and improve parts of themselves that they may want to hide. These parts of us all are identified as our shadows; the dark silhouette that we can never make disappear; our flaws, weaknesses, hidden demons. With the light, there is reflected through every being on this planet, a dark form that is always present, even out of the light.
Are these aspects of us something to be ashamed of or to fear....? I think not. When we give things our power through fear and ignorance, it is when these very things can defeat us. We won't be defeated if we are willing to do the spiritual work. Love is understanding, peace is knowing, happiness is showing .
