Do you feel like screaming? Me too. I'm only human, so I hope I said things the right way, but I am imperfect, so they probably could've been said better. But this podcast is to help you feel less alone, not make you feel like I know better than you. So we'll stumble along together. This episode is about feeling your feelings and how to process the aftermath of the 2024 Presidential election. This is a nuanced topic, and it isn't easy to tackle, so I hope you'll give me grace, and I hope this episode makes you feel connected. ily!
PS: This is an extremely challenging topic to tackle, and I tried to address it in the best way I knew how. But I did misspeak at one point when talking about America being built on immigrants. What I meant was that the colonization of America and the United States was built on immigrants; Indigenous people still exist, and unfortunately, we (by we, I mean we as the United States and descendants of immigrants that stole this land) continue to take more and more away from them and their communities.
