Tim Gladis is a retired police chief and with over 40 years experience in communities in several states.  He has served in patrol, investigations, intelligence, communications, K-9, community relations and counter-terrorism units.

Tim's experience as a patrol officer, patrol supervisor, unit commander and three stints as Chief of Police provides him with a rich history of life on "The Job".  Blue Life Stories is his way of sharing the lessons learned while handling actual police calls for service.  

The goal of this project is to give citizens an insider's look at the toll police work takes on officers, crime victims, suspects and their families in human terms.  The successes, failures and the lessons learned from the most unlikely sources form the foundation of each story.
