AI, civil unrest, global warming, social media, war... it seems like every single day there is something else to stress about. There's too many things to focus on outside of ourselves to keep us on edge & take us out of our center of power. With all this chaos, it can easily leave us feeling hopeless and lost. If you're like me, you're looking for something more.
To feel seen, heard and understood and to be part of a community. These are the foundations of who we are as people. That's why I started this podcast. I realized that every single one of us is sitting on a vault of knowledge and experiences. It's time to bring those out in the open and learn from ourselves & each other. That's the best way for us to continue to grow outward & upward. My promise to you is that you'll get something of value from every episode here. Annie is at the forefront of change in the mental health field as it expands towards holistic care. As a somatic intimacy coach, Annie considers the intimate, social, and environmental context, and how they contribute to overall wellbeing.
Mind-body connection, or somatic modalities, are becoming central to mental health care frameworks. Relational therapy frameworks are replacing traditional one-way client-practitioner dynamics.
Her goal is to continue supporting recipients, and other providers, in expanding personal and shared resilience as we manage adversity, including the climate crisis and its inherent impacts on health.
