There's too many things to focus on outside of ourselves to keep us on edge & take us out of our center of power. With all this chaos, it can easily leave us feeling hopeless and lost. If you're like me, you're looking for something more.
To feel seen, heard and understood and to be part of a community. These are the foundations of who we are as people. That's why I started this podcast. I realized that every single one of us is sitting on a vault of knowledge and experiences. It's time to bring those out in the open and learn from ourselves & each other. That's the best way for us to continue to grow outward & upward. My promise to you is that you'll get something of value from every episode here. Jaime is a California-licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner and holds a masters degree in psychiatric nursing from the University of California at San Francisco, including national board certification in psychiatry for children and adults.
He has over 25 years of experience in mental health, ranging from work as a nurse practitioner in outpatient clinics, to being a nurse manager at Stanford Hospital, as well as managing a crisis unit. This range of experience has provided him with a greater understanding of how to identify opportunities for change and suggest goals that reflect a patient's priorities.
Join us as we discuss his journey to this career path, some of the breakthroughs of psychedelic assisted therapy, & why he believes healing is a rite everyone deserves.
