GALE BIRD: A trio reshaping alternative country

Gale Bird is the trio of husband and wife Joshua and Melissa Gale and friend Sean Monahan. Hailing from Charleston, SC, they combine lots of stacked vocal harmonies and southern grit with a lot of heart in their uplifting original songs. Their influences are quite varied and include the Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Rascal Flatts, Need To Breathe, Coldplay, and Alan Jackson. Along with those there are shades of jazz, soul, and straight up rock and roll in their music. They say they're "reshaping alternative country" and when you listen to their originals, you know they're only getting started. For Gale Bird, it's faith and being honest about their convictions that has them soaring in the Charleston music scene.
