Alright, I did a poll out there on Instagram and LinkedIn recently and asked for feedback from you guys asking you what exactly you want me to do solo episodes on and I actually had a bunch of requests for this specific topic and it is my morning routine. So I am an open book. I'll answer whatever you want. So if you have any questions about anything you can send me a DM to follow up from this episode.

So for those of you, you don't know, I have been an avid workout girly my entire life. I used to play soccer in high school and I played on the club team at college. So I'm always in a runner, very active, all the things. I'm 38 now and over the past 10 years, the past decade, I'd say, I've taken weightlifting more seriously. So every morning I get up at five and I go to the gym.

six and I do that four to five days a week. Do I feel like it every day? Hell no. Do I do it to stay skinny? No, I do it because it helps my mindset every single day when I move my body, when I sweat, when I get the toxins out of my body, when I am with other people too working out, I like group exercises classes so I go to a group exercise place.

Every day at six, so I wake up at five, I drink hot tea in the morning, and then I'm at the gym by six. And the specific gym I'm going to right now is about an hour's class, so I'm there from six to seven. Come home, take care of the dogs, have breakfast. Every single day I have one egg scrambled with vegetables in it. So that's what I eat every single morning, I think consuming protein.

to refill your body after you just slipped a weight has been a good thing for me. So I have one egg with vegetables in it. I typically cut up some peppers and onions and I'll food prep. So I'll cut up my peppers and onions on like a Sunday or Monday and then I'll just have it ready to go in the fridge. So I'll cook my egg with veggies on it and then I also like to have a English muffin with jelly on it. So that's my splurge with everything I do with eating, drinking, I

try to practice the 80-20 rule. So 80 % clean, 20 % have some flexibility. So the 20 % is the cheese, the carbs, the wine. I actually tried to giving up the English muffin in the morning and it just wasn't worth it. just, no. It was a huge no for me. So I have an egg with an English muffin with it. Then I have my second cup of tea at that time. Always too, I drink water with lemon in it, especially in the mornings.

I think it helps with digestion and everything. One question I get asked a lot is about my hair. People want to know is my hair real or is it fake? And the answer is my hair is real. And I think it has to do with everything that I'm talking about, with what we put in our bodies, what we put on our hair. For those of you don't know, my husband has really severe allergies. And so I don't use basically any product on my hair.

My shampoo I use is organic and it does not have any scent whatsoever. back to the hair. I also only wash my hair one to two times a week. So I try to maintain it. I don't over wash it and I don't blow dry it unless I have to. So I'll blow dry it if I've got somewhere to go or if I'm getting my hair.

curled up or straightened or whatever so I tried not to put a lot of heat on my hair. So this is kind of funny but my hair looks like it does because I don't wash it very much and I use organic shampoo. So for those of you who wondering about the hair, that's the hack. I don't overuse products. I don't dry it unless I have to with a blow dryer.

And I don't wash it but once or twice a week. And so in between my washes, I'll maintain it with dry shampoo. And my hair styles actually has a dry shampoo that is brunette colored. And so that's good with like helping with the roots and the grays and touching up all that. So that's my hack there. And that's my morning routine. So hope this has been helpful. Thanks for listening.
