Alright, I am extra sassy today. So you guys are in for a treat and if you're listening this podcast This is literally the third time I'm recording it We are having some work that our house and I've contractors in and out of my house for the past four weeks So anyways, okay I have lots of conversations all the time with women with individuals who they have it on their heart They want to start something it doesn't to be a business. It could be a new hobby a new skill

It could be start a podcast, it could be they wanna speak to groups but they don't know where to start to get those gigs. my message to you today is just one of encouragement. You've got to start putting yourself out there and start doing the damn thing. That's what I did when I blew up my Instagram account. That's what I did with my LinkedIn account. That's why I this podcast here. And literally, I had no clue what I was doing.

When I wanted to start this podcast, I literally turned to my husband and said, I want to start, I want to do a podcast. And he said, okay, great. I was a recruiter, headhunter. had plenty of experience, 15 years of experience interviewing other people. So I knew it would be an easy transition to just press record. Little did I know there was so much more on the back end to it, but it has been one of the best decisions that I've made to this date. It is literally...

connected me to the most amazing humans and if you are listening to this podcast, keep that in mind. I literally went on Google and said how to start a podcast. That's how I got started on this whole journey and I read a blog. That's all I did is I read a blog on how to start a podcast and I just followed the blog and I didn't let the tech piece intimidate me. Now the tech piece is a thing and that's probably the number one thing that holds people back. The tech.

and the time commitment. is both of those things. listen, what used to take me over three hours to do with editing an episode takes me less than five minutes with AI now. So my encouragement is to you is to whatever it is you want to do, just start it. Just start it. Do it messy. Do it. You don't have to have it all figured out at all. I didn't have any of this figured out whatsoever. When I started my online journey, my personal branding journey, I literally had no clue what I was doing.

And people, don't remember those days because they just see all the shiny stuff now. But the reality was I was just like you and your same shoes. I wanted to start something. I wanted more. But I didn't know where to start. So when I started my journey online, I just started showing up, putting myself out there. Yes. Was it cringe? Yes. Hell yes. Yes. Was I nervous? Was I scared? Who was, everyone was watching me. All my friends, all my family.

all my coworkers, my boss, literally everyone was watching me. It was such a visible journey, but I have literally no regrets whatsoever. So now, two and a half years later, the questions are instead of like, how's your little podcast going? It's now, how did you do it? So that's my encouragement to you. If you listen to this podcast, no matter what it is, business, a hobby, learning a skill, start a podcast, just do it and I'll be here cheering you on.
