Your Point My View Podcast

Your Point My View Podcast is a conversational platform where every viewpoint matters. It’s not a judgement of whose right or wrong. We may ask why someone feels a certain way on a particular subject or, their viewpoint may raise an eyebrow or two, but most times, it’s out of fun because much of our conversation stems from points of views that can’t be debated so we have no choice but to make it an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere. You're going to look forward to Monday afternoons at 3 PM to see whose views mesh with your view week after week, or who is just far off in left field. The beauty of our platform is that each person's view is their own truth. It’s allowed to come from an authentic place and, if it changes during the course of the conversation, that’s ok as well because maybe the conversation sparked a different way of thinking about things. The rule is not to cast shade on someone else's view or make them feel less of a person for having one different than your own. We are all encouraged to bring our authentic selves to the virtual table. We are all important and we want to keep it that way.

Faith, family, food, and fun. That's me all in one take. Life for me ain't been no crystal stair, but I'm blessed beyond measure because of it. I can be a bit of a goofball at times, but I love to see others smile. I am a talkative individual that speaks his mind - which has gotten me into trouble a time or fifty, but who's countin'? I keep it real, and at this point in my life, I am just trying to make sure my assignment gets fulfilled - one smile at a time. Are you ready to smile with me? Good! Let's go!!

I'm the quiet jokester and often love to mix it up on the air. My focus is on self-care, and I try to be the "balance" of the tribe, encouraging all perspectives. I'm a business owner and administrative professional in the behavioral health industry. I run my counseling, coaching, and consulting business and am a licensed therapist and subject matter expert in Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders. I often educate others on those topics regionally and statewide. I am also the co-owner of a farm with my husband. As a Christian, I incorporate my faith into everything I do. My motto is to work hard at being the best version of the authentic you.

Hey, it's your girl! Here's a little something about me. I am a Christian. I work in the hospitality industry. In my spare time (which I don't have a lot of), I enjoy creating, cooking, crafting and reading a good novel. Power Statement: There are those who get to the top by standing on the shoulders of others but fail to appreciate the effort it took to climb.

Singing is my passion, writing is my love and anything DIY is my escape. My creative juices are always flowing. I drive my family crazy with my "there is no sky, so there is no limit" mindset. I'm all about pushing and getting it done and can admittedly wear others out. I'm in my 50's, I don't have time to "wait". If not now, then when? I'm going for everything of intrinsic value life has to offer and am excited about the journey my tribe sisters and I are on. I welcome you to come along for the ride.
