Your Point My View Podcast
Your Point My View Podcast is a conversational platform where every viewpoint matters. It’s not a judgement of whose right or wrong. We may ask why someone feels a certain way on a particular subject or, their viewpoint may raise an eyebrow or two, but most times, it’s out of fun because much of our conversation stems from points of views that can’t be debated so we have no choice but to make it an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere. You're going to look forward to Monday afternoons at 3 PM to see whose views mesh with your view week after week, or who is just far off in left field. The beauty of our platform is that each person's view is their own truth. It’s allowed to come from an authentic place and, if it changes during the course of the conversation, that’s ok as well because maybe the conversation sparked a different way of thinking about things. The rule is not to cast shade on someone else's view or make them feel less of a person for having one different than your own. We are all encouraged to bring our authentic selves to the virtual table. We are all important and we want to keep it that way.

Mental Health/Wellness: Your Mind Matters Part 2
In Part One on Mental Health / Wellness: Your Mind Matters, we were able to explain the difference between mental health and mental illness, gave our results on our Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) test, and talked about the different types of family mental health challenges. We also referenced the mental health struggles and concerns of the black family. Join us in Part Two of our series as our YPMV panel, along with our special guest, Jasmine, dive into what mental self-care looks like, as well as spotlight the impact of mental health on black males. June is Men’s Mental Health Month, and more conversation needs to be had regarding how a man “processes” rather than “deals with” his mental health.
