A podcast dedicated to low stakes deep dives into pop culture led by Marcy, a middle-aged, multimedia casual consumer. She is joined by her chosen brother Paul as they discuss science fiction and post apocalyptic TV/Movies. They recently reviewed HBO’s The Last of Us and Avatar the Last Airbender on Netflix. They are now eager to begin discussing the TV show Fallout on Amazon Prime.
Marcy and Paul have been friends and occasional roommates for over 20 years. This means that they've spent countless hours sitting on a couch together watching TV and playing video games. Both of us love books and science, so most episodes include those things. We'd love for you to join us on our cushy couch! Spoilers are expected with this show.

Our buddy John from the Open Pike Night podcast joins us to be our emotional support cohost. The death of Joel is hard to watch, but we'll help you get through it step by step. These Alaskan friends will distract you with talk of snow physics and Lord of the Rings parallels. Paul breaks out his Abbey villian voice. John just doesn't understand how a town with 5+ years of prep time goes down in 2 minutes from the zombie horde. Marcy stays on brand discussing the heroes of the episode...the dogs. They also discuss the cultural phenomenon of killing off main characters in TV shows and the meaning of the title Through the Valley. Buckle up!
