Persistence in Prayer with Kylie Hein
Welcome to the Persistence in Prayer podcast—where Catholic women who feel pulled in a million directions stop overthinking, deepen their faith, and reclaim peace through prayer, mindset, and spiritual growth.
Are you constantly chasing productivity but feel like your soul is running on empty?
Do you long to hear God's voice in the middle of your packed schedule and mental clutter?
You're not alone.
Hosted by Catholic Mindset Coach, wife, mom, and speaker Kylie Hein, this podcast helps overwhelmed Catholic women create more space for God in their lives so they can pray with purpose and live with peace.
Each episode brings you simple spiritual practices, real-life stories, honest conversations, and Catholic tools rooted in Church teaching—including topics like:
- how to pray when you're distracted or stressed
- how to make God the center of your day (not just an add-on)
- spiritual strategies for anxiety, discernment, and decision fatigue
- practical ways to grow in trust, surrender, and clarity of purpose
Whether you're in a spiritual valley or on a mountain top, there's a place for you here.
It’s time to quiet the noise, begin again, and discover the freedom that comes from persistence in prayer.
Because a well-ordered soul leads to a well-loved life.

Episode 27: Just Because You Can Doesn't Mean You Should - Growing in Self-Knowledge
Who needs to grow in self-knowledge? All of us!
- If you think you’ve made it, that thought alone is a testament that you have so very far left to go. The foundations of the spiritual life ALWAYS need tended to.
- When we grow in self-knowledge, we are better able to focus on doing ONE significant thing well, rather than adding on 20 more because we either want the recognition, we want to prove to ourselves/others that we can, or we are just neurologically conditioned to be in a state of stress and we think that is completely normal!
Join me this week as I unpack 3 ways you can start growing in self-awareness right now!
"I do not know if I have explained this clearly: self-knowledge is so important that, even if you were raised right up to the heavens, I should like you never to relax your cultivation of it; so long as we are on this earth, nothing matters more than humility. And so I repeat that it is a very good thing — excellent, indeed — to begin by entering the room where humility is acquired rather than by flying off to the other rooms." -Teresa of Avila
