The Internet can be a scary place for a teenager. In a world where you’re constantly bombarded by billboards, advertisements, celebrities and social media with how you’re supposed to look and feel, how are you supposed to develop a healthy sense of self and identity?? Car Talks gets teens together, from a wide variety of backgrounds, in one car to talk about their experiences, feelings and thoughts in how all parts of their identity, from sexual orientation to race to gender, and how all of that impacts their lives. We’ll talk about friends, family, relationships and dating in hopes of creating a welcoming environment for every teen, and give them a place where they can feel like they’re not alone during one of the most confusing times of our lives.
