Effective Strategy for Goal Setting: Focusing on What's in Your Control

#44. Thanks to a recent epiphany from a podcast interview of Alex Hormozi, I've created a solo episode around this exercise of "What would it take to have authority in x", where 'x' is some arbitrary skillset or task etc.

I've cycled through many forms of goal setting, some very non committal. What I like is when the focus is on what I'm able to do, and not on external factors or outcomes.

In this episode,  I'll walk you through examples from my personal goals of how I set numerical goals of doing something repeatedly for 'x' number of times in order to improve at that thing (while also factoring in improvement with each rep).

I use examples relating to the podcast (and all the things I do to manage that), my goals for fashion design, entrepreneurship, social media, reading, health, relationships, self care etc etc.

Could be helpful if you're big on goal setting and frequently finding it difficult to reach your specific goal or maybe if you're just looking for a new mindset to approach goal setting when improving at a particular skill.
