4 Months In: Documenting the Chaos of Entrepreneurship
#53. I'm 4 months into my attempt at full-time solopreneurship. I've spent time developing the podcast social media, taking on freelance clients for social media management and coding, started my own LLC, and a lot of time just spinning my wheels.
In this episode I reflect on the struggles I've faced and some things that have helped with clarity, mindset and attitude recently. I talk about a pivot I want to make with the podcast in attempts to connect you with the entrepreneurs themselves, how I'm motivated to get more experience, and what it's like to go through a major transition and identity shift while not exactly knowing what your new identity is yet.
I'm here to provide value and the value I can provide is directly proportional to my experience with entrepreneurship so we're out here getting that experience.
Also, happiness is determined by the gap between your expectations and your reality. If my expectations are to use this time to learn and grow as a person, then I'm meeting my goals. If they're to build a million dollar business within six months - I may be putting unnecessary pressure on myself. Just a thought I've had recently.
