Joshua

Joshua spent his teen and adult life in the church. After high school he was offered the job as worship director/pastor for a mega church-he said yes. He brings years of worship experience and knowledge to this podcast.  Joshua rode the tension line of wanting to believe in Jesus, and also seeing the way those that followed Jesus were treating everyone. Joshua left the mega church and the evangelical movement in 2019.  Once he left the evangelical movement he was able appreciate and really begin to discover who he is.  Joshua is a fierce advocate for the LGBTQIA and trans communities. Now no longer bound by the control of the church he enjoys writing and playing music.  Along with music Joshua's passions include gardening, surfing, spending time with his wife and children and of course this podcast!
