We are Joshua and Stephanie, the back-sliders behind this podcast. Thank you for taking the time to listen to this show. We have put a lot of effort and research into creating a great podcast for all of you. Although we enjoy taking on satirical characters on our tik tok accounts, this podcast will dive into more serious topics with a dose of humor. Stephanie was born into the Fundamental Evangelical Christian movement. When she was in 7th grade she started to lead worship in youth group and didn't stop until she left the church in 2020. Before she left she was a worship leader in a mega church. Stephanie holds a degree in education with an emphasis in child psychology. She currently spends her time helping cult survivors find their voice and encourages people to take up space and heal loudly. She advocates for the LGBTQIA and trans communities. Stephanie enjoys hiking, photography, exploring, music, cooking, and of course spending time with her husband and three kids.
