Birth control caused my blood clots...and in today's episode of Her Everyday, I'm sharing more about how my blood clot diagnosis led to the diagnosis of a rare disease called Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH) and an open heart surgery called a Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy (PTE). I'm going to be sharing the whole story with you - from the testing leading up to my CTEPH diagnosis to explaining what exactly PTE surgery is to why I decided to go all the way across the country for surgery and everything in between!
