The essence and core of who you are, spiritual development and fueling your passions on a soul level
On this episode, I introduce and have a very special guest with me, one of my closest and longest lifetime friends, Maya.
Here, we discuss our individual evolvement and journeys with learning how to develop adequate inner self-talk, self-perception, and self-acceptance overall. And ultimately, how we have equally helped one another to execute these efficiently into our individual lives. How we have learned from each other better strategies to formulate beneficial self-talk in tandem with how self-talk catapults our self-perception entirely, which we strongly feel is vital in terms of our separate journeys with self-growth.
But most importantly, we dive deep into her personal experience with her mission trip where she lived in Peru for 7 months and helped, guided, mentored and educated a village of young kids and young women during her time spent there.
With her experiences, we delve into spiritual development, the importance behind detaching from your ego and from the outcomes of life just generally speaking. Maya and I speak on what the core and essence of who we are means to us, and how this intertwines with our soul purpose and the way in which this largely emanates from our inner child—being true to who you are internally and connecting this to everything you do.
Additionally, she articulates more about her time in Peru in terms of the disconnect with American food and how it is so radically different and heavily modified in contrast to the way food is assimilated in other countries, more specifically with her own experience having to adjust back to living here in the states and what that meant with the change in her eating habits and overall, daily routine.
