I’m a nerd and always have been. My sisters used to call me Professor Jess when I was little because I could explain things they couldn’t.

I’ve always had a love for science and learning things, regardless what they are. I’m a voracious reader, going through more than half a million words a month, and am always learning about something new.

I have been a nerd my whole life. From playing Dungeons & Dragons as a young teen, to working in the tech industry doing network operations for the local telephone company. I have always been in or around most things nerdy.

I am a husband and a father to by little clone nerd in training. I also have 1.95 degrees, one in Eco-Tourism and 0.95 of one in Geology (long story… LOL). My dad and I used to do complex math troubles for fun in high school, so I am kinda Nerdy.

I’m Irish Canadian, I moved to Canada over a decade ago and have recently received my Canadian Citizienship.

I’m father to four, and grandfather to 5, and married to my best friend.

I’ve worked in IT for 20+ years now, but I’m probably the least nerdish of all of us.
I love learning new things, so I’m hoping that I can learn from the real Nerds!
