Casual Camping Podcast
The best camping discussion both in and out of the field. Light-hearted chat with two brothers (Ade and Tim) who love all things camping-related. Camping is their happy place.
We started this podcast because we both found that we had very busy lives and we weren't speaking to each other enough. When we did talk, it was always about camping. By putting a podcast episode out every week we make sure we keep in touch. It's as simple as that.
We aren't sponsored and we don't need paid partnerships. This isn't our day job, it's simply a way to keep two brothers connected. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we love making it.

Hi Tim and Ade, I have been listening since the start so thought it was about time I sent in my mediocre 5* review. I love the podcast - it’s strangely relaxing hearing you both chat away about all things camping even though I rarely get out to the field these days myself due to a bad back and young child combo. Hopefully there are more camping days in my future though, and when they arrive I will be well prepared with my wish list and top tips from you both. Not convinced about the stoves in tents idea yet though - sounds cosy but simultaneously terrifying. Looking forward to season 3! From Monica
saved a few of these shows to listen to whilst commuting to Southampton and back - had a full on LOL moment with the realisation that- “Whatever tent you're in, you know, somebody wants to get in your tent, they're gonna get in your tent, aren't they?” And the only way to combat that is “having a tent with enough room to swing an axe” Sage advice gentlemen - keep it up (PS the Facebook chat group is awesome - although I have somehow removed myself and can’t get back in) Dave Cribb
Morgan from North Norfolk, Morning lads keep up the good work. You were talking about knots the other day my brother-in-law Rob has a great saying. If you don't knots, tie lots !!. I hope that keeps the tarp up for you . Ooh er missus. Keep up the good work
came across your podcast only recently, I'm a newbie solo camper since 2023 and well cooked in terms of age! A bit like you guys🤣 Keep going 👍 Paul (from the Cotswolds)
I've finally managed to catch up after a couple of weeks of binge listening! Many questionable facts make you both sound like you know what your doing, keep it up! Love the banter and conversation. I also blame you both for my recent purchase of a 5m deluxe bell tent in the end of season sale, thanks! Will be looking forward to every Friday morning. Excellent work chaps. Keep it casual. From Jack in Stourport
Hello Gentlemen I enjoy listening to your podcast every week. Your camping conditions and the gear you use is quite different from our dispersed fire road camping (no facilities) in the Ponderosa forests of Arizona at 7500 feet, but one thing we always do is bring a hot shower and plenty of cold beer!
Hey fellas, thank you for the humor, lessons and stories. Ever since your listener (Chris from Texas) introduced me to y’all a while back, Casual Camping podcast has become a staple on my drives. As a novice camper, it helps so much to hear your thoughts and experience, and because y’all are hilarious it doesn’t feel like a chore. Camping can feel so overwhelming at first, but you fellas have taught me to laugh, as well as learn from errors. Keep it up 🌼 Thanks guys P.S. Sorry, I don’t know anyone in Antarctica
5 Stars. Came for the number 1 camping podcast in the world. Stayed for two fellas laughing at dirty jokes. Funny podcast. Ryan from Ireland.
Hi Tim and Ade, just wanted to say how much I love the podcast! I do not know how I ended up listening as I usually listen to History or True crime but I am glad I found the podcast. You guys are so funny and informative and I always enjoy the episodes even though most of the don't apply to me as someone trying to camp by train with a very small kit! Thanks so much, Amy from Manchester
another great series/year, absolutely love it. Although tends to make me laugh at the most inconvenient of times. Keep smashing it out fellas, and hopefully catch up with you in '26 either 'out in the field' or at a show. Happy Christmas and NY both. Stu aka mountainbikemortgageguy :-)
another incredible episode. Loved it. To have Jetboil man on site, amazing. Can't wait to catch up with you guys .
★★★★★ “The Goldilocks of Camping Podcasts” Howdy Y'all! As a Texan who’s spent more nights in the woods than I have in my own bed (okay, slight exaggeration), Casual Camping Podcast is exactly what I need—just enough expert advice to keep me from setting myself on fire from sparky burns, but not so much that I feel guilty for using a camp chair instead of a rock. Tim and Ade are the perfect blend of knowledge and chaos, like two guys who could either teach you to start a fire or accidentally burn down the whole campsite. Five stars because I laughed, I learned, and I only mildly questioned their survival skills. Pop a top my friends!
I thought it was about time I sent a mediocre 5 ⭐️ review. I do love the podcast, the banter is ace. And whilst the facts are dubious, they are delivered genuinely, honestly & with conviction 😂 I recommend it to everyone, whether they want me to or not. -Rich
Hi guys! Just realised after all this time I have not even left you a 5 star mediocre review haha! Love the podcast and made some great friends because of it. Always look forward to a Friday for the laughs listening to you two with the banter. Thanks guys! Bella
Look forward to my Friday Mornings at work listening to you to make img me laugh. Although you are making me miss my weekends camping and you’re making me want to spend more and more money and kit each week. Keep up the good work lads and happy camping 😁🏕️
