Élaine a fondé le bureau de Global à Montréal, en 2016. Sa carrière s’étend de la politique aux communications, en passant par le développement et la collecte de fonds, où elle a occupé de nombreux postes de haute direction au Québec et mené plusieurs campagnes de financement importantes.
Élaine est aussi une bénévole active dans le secteur de la philanthropie, ayant notamment été membre du chapitre de Québec de l’AFP et de plusieurs conseils communautaires. Elle a obtenu son titre de CFRE en 2015.
Jeff Sodowsky joined Global in 2018 and brings infectious enthusiasm, diverse perspectives and international expertise to assessments, plan development, implementation, and counsel. He works on grassroots efforts as well as multi-million dollar campaigns. He has both led operational expansion and guided organizations through cutbacks and crises. Committed to equity, inclusion and new opportunities, he seeks to empower others. A retired performing artist and classroom professional, he is an engaging facilitator.
Joining Global in 2022, Pat has 16 years of fund development experience. He has held leadership roles in post-secondary institutions including the University of British Columbia and Sait Polytechnic.
With immense passion for the community and health, he held senior level positions with the United Way, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Alzheimer Society. Pat has completed a Masters in Philanthropy and Development, paired with a CFRE designation.
Pat is poised and ready to maximize revenue generation for your organization. To date, he has worked with The Dehcho First Nations, Qmunity (BC’s Queer, Trans and Two-spirit resource centre) and Dr. R.E.M Lee Hospital Foundation among others.
Fun fact: In his spare time, Pat and his husband are avid concert-goers. At a recent show in Vancouver, the one and only Adele congratulated them on their engagement!
Stacey joined Global in 2022. Fluent in English and French, she is an engaging values-based leader.
Stacey has held impactful leadership positions with The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, Special Olympics Québec, Alberta Cancer Foundation, MacEwan University, and the University of Alberta.
As an accredited coach-approach facilitator, a professionally trained, certified and ICF credentialed Professional Certified Coach™, and former CFRE, Stacey provides clients with a unique combination of organizational advancement, board governance, leadership, and fund development experience.
Barney Ellis-Perry has 30+ years of fundraising and constituent engagement experience, and 14 years with his alma mater UBC where he held key fundraising and alumni relations positions. Barney returned to his home province of BC after working in the US for eight years to lead the Hospital Foundation in the role of CEO. Barney’s most recent position was as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Barney’s proudest accomplishment at UBC was successfully designing, launching, and co-leading UBC’s Start an Evolution Campaign, the world’s first dual-goal campaign for a major university with goals of raising $1.5 billion and of doubling active alumni engagement by 2015. Elle est une experte chevronnée en collecte de fonds, dégage une combinaison charmante et unique de chaleur, d’enthousiasme, de sagesse et de professionnalisme. Elle possède sept ans d’expérience en tant que directrice générale du bureau de l’avancement et événements à l’Université Emily Carr en Colombie-Britannique.
Stratège expérimenté et gestionnaire philanthropique chevronné, Jean-Nicholas a bâti sa réputation sur les résultats. Il a contribué à la collecte de plus de 250 millions de dollars en dons philanthropiques pour plus de 150 clients au Québec et dans les provinces de l’Atlantique. Il a animé plusieurs de séminaires de formation en matière de philanthropie et a effectué de nombreux diagnostics organisationnels pour des institutions et organismes sans but lucratif.
An award-winning strategist and entrepreneur for over 20 years, Kirsten has helped governments and communities around the world innovate, increase community engagement, improve access to services, address sustainability, and respond more effectively to emergencies. In 2012, Kirsten co-founded ePACT Network, an innovative emergency management SaaS platform used by over a million families and thousands of municipal recreation providers, camps, sports teams, and youth programs across North America, to manage health and emergency information. After exiting ePACT, in 2023, Kirsten became CEO of The Forum, a national charity that helps 2000+ women entrepreneurs each year start and scale their businesses, through education, mentorship and access to capital. In 2025 Kirsten was named to Vancouver Magazine's Power 50 List, recognizing the impact The Forum is making on the community.
Lisa Dayanandan is Philanthropy Advisor with the Edmonton Community Foundation and volunteers with the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and AFP Edmonton and Area Chapter.
Sofia Janmohamed is the Executive Director of Development, Advancement & Alumni Engagement at Simon Fraser University (SFU), where she has worked collectively for over 19 years.
She has also held senior roles with the Canadian Cancer Society and Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation. Additionally, Sofia is the recent past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Vancouver Chapter.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Canada and is the Educational Programming Liaison on the CASE District VIII Cabinet. Sofia holds an MBA from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
