Getting Out With Jesse Xander
Raw, unfiltered, conversations and interviews filled with laughter.
Getting Out is Hosted By Me, Jesse Xander, Im a singer/songwriter, musician, and audio engineer…..oh yeah, I’m also an ex con and a recovering addict. I spent 3 years in prison, during the covid pandemic and locked down 24 hours a day for the majority of my time. So every day is a gift that I have to remind myself to even open.
I spent most of my young life in the Entertainment industry. I had the privilege to work with artists such as The Sugar Hill Gang, Biz Markie, Poppa Don, Inner Party System, Ty Wiz and many others but before I knew it I was in sooo deep I didn't think id ever be able to GET OUT, let alone repair all the damage I caused. But I’m alive and I’m free.
I started Getting Out to tackle topics such as addiction, mental health and Prison Life-which comes with stories of loved ones passing and a lot of pain. But also stories of redemption and over coming. GETTING OUT gives us a chance to look at ourselves our past mistakes, and hopefully help someone that is dealing with something similar.. Or maybe you’re just interested in what prison life is like and want a good laugh? We got you.
Learn to laugh at the person you were, use your mistakes as your personal super power.
So lets get out together!

Ep 55 Laughing Through Life’s Challenges and Hidden Dangers
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Being one of the lucky ones, battling through addiction and coming out the other side, I try to look at it like I was rewarded with a rare percpective and an even more invaluable toolkit of life skills. We get real about the struggle, the triumphs, and the lessons learned—whether it’s mastering car maintenance or navigating the frustrating journey of upgrading to a gigabyte internet plan. Wth is internet and how does it work? Those were the questions I wanted answers too, ounce my brain was clear.
That is where! Our story takes a dramatic twist when a routine inspection uncovers a flooded sub-basement and corroded wiring, bringing to light the critical importance of the landlord/ Owners responsibility and obligations to properly upkeep & maintain the property they rent or lease out. This episode isn’t just about fixing leaks and wires; it’s about mental resilience, the joy of being heard, and a call to action for ALL Glenwood Apartment Residents and anyone willing to help! This Might be one last transmission before the roof comes down. Well here's your proof!!!

Uncovering Hidden Dangers in the Environment
Speaker 1You ready? Let's do this.
Speaker 2Welcome to Getting Out with the podcast oh with the host what you already know, kdg and Jesse P.
Speaker 1We are here, ladies and gentlemen, we made it.
Speaker 2We made it so far we came, the distance we traveled, the leagues and the seas and the planes and the trains and the cars all of it, we made it, we made it so far. Oh, my friend KDG, it's so good to see you.
Speaker 1Thank you for coming. You know I'm always going to be here, my friend, I know, you know.
Speaker 2I know it's always going to be a good time when.
Speaker 1I see you, my friend. I know it's always going to be a good time, just like Ice Cube said dude, we had a little.
Speaker 2I know it's always going to be a good time when I see my friend, I know it's always going to be a good time, just like Ice Cube said yeah, dude, we had a little pee-diddy, we had a sleepover, yeah, but we still had to go.
Speaker 1You know what I'm saying? That's what we got to do.
Speaker 2That's the main thing we got work done. You know what I mean. We had a KDG. Stay over Teaching him some shit. Bop, bop, bop, bop, bop.
Speaker 1Was it a trip? Oh, was it a trip.
Speaker 2We found out some things.
Speaker 1Some dark things he really helped, some really black and dark, dirty things. Yeah Right, so yeah.
Speaker 2And then that is a thing we got to get to, but I don't know if I want to get to that thing.
Speaker 1No, we gotta like I don't know if we should get to that right now.
Speaker 2Let them leave a hanging because that's a juicy little piece of meat that I think they should wait until um a little bit later.
Speaker 1Well, I think that would be the main event then. Yeah, I think that might. Oh, look at him talking all you know what is that country? I think it's still southern, southern, southern, yeah. Yeah, my daddy said you know, I've been talking like this for a while. I don't know. Don't be talking like that, okay well, you know, I'll just.
Speaker 2I don't think that's allowed over here, oh okay not over here on these parts of this road okay, that's why I'm kdg.
Speaker 1That's right. Yeah, so you just be you that that's right.
Speaker 2You wouldn't be only you. Hey man how are you there, you?
Speaker 1go yeah man.
Speaker 2That's who he is. That's KDG. There he is All day. Look at that, dude. We found the hat, brought it back to life. Shine that shit up, put a little swishy swash, swashy, swish. Threw that in the wash yeah, buddy. And gave it a little swishy shine I like that and came out Brand new.
Speaker 1No, not really.
Speaker 2But it came out looking good. Who has that? Nobody has that.
Speaker 1Nobody has that. I was pulling out shit.
Speaker 2My dad was pulling out shit. You wouldn't Fucking believe. 1941 19 You're 1941, that's even in the bio 1941, 1999 Dude, never changing, never. Bio 1941 1999 dude, never changing. Never, ever, ever, ever, fuck them. Yep, they can all die. Well, you know, they don't have to die but you know, they can all know I know, I didn't mean that. I mean they can all die like in that, like way of like, just like to me, like you know, to me they get all like I don't want to know about.
Speaker 2Yeah know about this to me. When I mean that, I never mean that. I don't mean that in my head they have to be like non-existent.
Speaker 1I'm sorry guys, I did not mean to go whole. I'm not a mean person.
Speaker 2But I'm just saying I don't want that negativity in my life. I'm a fat jelly roll I've lost fucking 40 pounds, since I've had the negativity thank you, god.
Speaker 1Praise the Lord. All positivity. I'm a fat jelly roll. I've lost fucking 40 pounds Since I've had the negative. Give me your hand right there, brother.
Speaker 2Thank you God, thank you God. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord Jesus. So you know what I'm saying. So I've had good energy In my life, a lot to keep, a lot.
Speaker 1But how's the energy Keeping up with you? Is it getting stronger, bro?
Speaker 2it's gotten so strong that I fucking. Yeah, I'm. I was figuring shit out like fucking James Bond, doctor who and fucking Erin Brockovich combined. Dude, they're gonna have a movie fucking called Jessie P and it's just gonna be all about me. Wow, fucking, busted open the life. Shit, yeah, that you would've never known. Wow, yeah, busting shit open so that you would have never known. Wow, busting shit open.
Speaker 1So that's why we, that's why they want us to drive.
Speaker 2Oh my God. So that's why Jesse snapped the chair during a KDG recording.
Speaker 1Oh, that's exactly that's true. That's a crazy one.
Speaker 2That's why we fucking remember when we fucking tiptoed into here and shit just falls over. I don't know where we're like what the fuck.
Speaker 1It just went down just like bro, like where's what?
Speaker 2now we know, yeah, we figured it out, guys, everything, oh my god. And we really like I'm so sorry we couldn't be here last week, but there was a decision on how to be made. Yeah, and it was either take that time to like figure this really not, I didn't even get to really figure it out, like but I figured it out I figured out the next steps kind of exactly.
Speaker 2I've taken precautions like, as you could tell, completely different environment, and so like I've been sleeping better in terms because of that, you know that's always good yes. So I could say thank God because of that I haven't fixed the problem yet.
Speaker 1I don't think the problem is going to be fixed. No.
Speaker 2It's that bad, like it's scary bad, like it's scary bad, it's like it's not even funny because it's like, thank god, like the it's not even that like. Oh my god, I don't even want to even get into it now you gotta have faith yeah, I know, it's just I do and that's what I do absolutely, but, like thank god, thank god. If not, nothing would Nothing, nothing would have been done.
Speaker 1Nothing.
Speaker 2Because if it's been, if I'm being told correctly, this isn't being. This has been known about and like we've been Trying to tell them for months.
Speaker 1Yeah, a long time, months yeah.
Speaker 2And, if you've known, watched the show. You've seen me getting sick. Yeah, of course, here and there. Yeah, foggy too like not weird, yep, when I yeah, and I, you gotta remember, I had to spend time in my room all the time right, because isp right and isp was like 6 30 lockdown so imagine, imagine that all that time. All that time in this room and that's like also that was before I, and I think it got really bad too when we had a storm. So basically yeah.
Speaker 2So, basically, guys, what is happening? Can I break them down for them? Break them down piece by piece, alright. So what has happened now? And I'm going to let everyone know too. I'm posting this shit everywhere. I'm posting this shit in Glenwood. I'm posting this everywhere. I'm posting this Old Bridge because they're building Amazon, they're building the shop right over here. They're building all these brand new spots and while we literally are sinking, Kevin.
Uncovering Home Environment Issues
Speaker 1Sinking, real sinking, thank you.
Speaker 2Yes, I have driven around for months and I've been doing slowly, talking to people, mm-hmm, taking pictures. Yeah, talking Right, trying to like this is a little weird. Something's a little weird. Something doesn't seem right, it's not right. I remember certain things, like I've always told you I picked up in prison or I read in a book and I told you I learned a lot from my mistakes. I know about cars from the mistakes that I made, from messing them up right. So I know about brakes because I rode my brakes down to the absolute desperate ground I've.
Speaker 2I found out about my emergency brake having an extra pad because, because I had no brakes, I have.
Speaker 2I have four years clean, november 1st 2019 right so before that I was a mess and I there was a. I've had spaces of time in in between where I was clean, right. And but believe me, I'm telling you, when you are going through that addiction, you learn a hell of a lot about yourself and about the world around you. And you pick up little things because you have to do side jobs, right, you know Mm-hmm. You do little things because you need money here and there, right? So then you'll learn things you never thought you'll learn before. Exactly, or like you know, I know how to make internet cables and stupid stuff like that.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2And so now, because of the podcast, I'm getting into internet, I'm getting into cable and Wi-Fi speeds. So I asked my parents one day I'm checking in on my wife, this is how it all starts Really. This is like the beginning of everything is really right here, and this is maybe I moved in to about two and a half years ago, maybe two years ago. Okay, right, sorry, guys, a little ASMR for you, you're good. So when I moved in, I wasn't doing this.
Speaker 2So once we started doing a podcast, I've noticed our uploading speeds, right. So I started and our downloading speeds and I also, when we started using the Fire Stick, like stuff like that, uploading, you know what I mean Like stuff like that I remember asking them like, what kind of how fast is our internet? And she uploaded, she upgraded to gigabyte along the way. I think this was like over a year ago. Okay, yeah, I'm testing our speeds and the highest we were getting was like 350, 360. Okay, I'm like that's not good at all and it's not even split yet. I'm just talking about Wi-Fi speed in the house Right, right, 350. I'm just talking about Wi-Fi speed in the house Right, right, 350. Or no, I'm talking about direct internet right from the modem 350.
Speaker 2I'm like what the hell is going on? I go farther away, go into my room, 150. Then I got Splitter, got the Optimum Guide to come here, right. Optimum Guide comes here, splits the line right. Really doesn't split the line, does something where he like, multiplies the signal so he's splitting the signal in two right and sending half of the signal my way okay and so now I have a hard line coming from my own coax which is really it's it, dude?
Speaker 2I don't fucking know, I really am not that. But the thing is, I know enough. You know what I mean. I know enough that you're not getting over on me, dude. You're not doing it to me, you do it to everybody else here that doesn't care about how fast their internet is, exactly. But if I'm trying to upload an episode, for because you gotta understand, like when you're doing, like when you're doing something to Spotify or to say Apple Music, it doesn't go up right away.
Speaker 2It's not a 1, 2, 3 thing, it takes 24 hours for it to upload. Sometimes, even if you go to make a change, it takes 24 hours for that change to come to effect. Because of the internet, it's all server-based, even when you go to do video editing. Even now some of Adobe stuff is a server-based editing. So that means I have to upload my videos to the server to be able to even work on it. So I'm sitting there in a creative mood right waiting for my thing to upload like it's it's fun.
Speaker 2It gets crazy. So I'm like something's going on, something's not right. So I call, we call the optimum guy. He comes, he does the whole split thing, blah, blah, he goes. Let me check your wiring down in the sub basement. First, open sub basement, it's flooded yeah okay, is that right and normal? Yeah, the sub is, and sub that's what they sometimes. They usually flood.
Speaker 2They usually have a sub pump, though I don't see one down there oh, okay um, you should call your maintenance guys, tell them and they'll come, put a sub pump down there and drain it. And then we'll come and look at the wires, because whoever put the wires down there put the wires on the ground and didn't put them on the ceiling so that when it does flood your wires are getting corroded and he goes. And when I pulled up your coax cable from, I pulled it through the wall, I saw some black stuff on the cables. Okay, I'm like, okay, that's a little fucking weird, right, yeah, okay, so, and meanwhile you gotta understand, the sub-basement is like right outside my studio window, like where I sleep.
Speaker 1Like right outside there.
Speaker 2So and I thank God have don't have barely any like flow from coming from my air conditioner or heat, so I've had that shit blocked for a long-ass time, damn okay. Thank God, but it's still not perfect. It's still not perfect. It's still not sealed and there's like you smell it right and I'm a clean. I clean a lot of the time. You're a clean boy. Yeah, and I wasn't like this before. I'm good Talk about Mr Clean. I'm talking about I'm a fucking, I'm a fucking cleaner.
Speaker 1Clean freak. Yeah, I'm going to clean the shit. What are you doing cleaning? I'm going to clean it baby, you got to clean it.
Speaker 2If it's got to be, Yo. If you got to clean it, you got to clean it. That's all I got to say to them, that one.
Speaker 1All right, you should clean after this, bro, it's already clean.
Speaker 2That's what. So I bought this fucking HEPA filter, which is great. It literally takes the pollen and all the dust that you see flying in the air, like when the sun hits in the morning, and you see all the dust particles in the air in the morning. All that it gets sucked into that filter and barely I would have to dust every other day. That's how bad, the dust would be in here and like my furniture was moist and everything I can notice my guitar was starting to be like you have to keep your guitar very deep, like I have to use a dehumidifier for your
Speaker 2car and bro, that's one thing like I cherish my whole fucking life. I've never sold that fucking thing, of course, like I've held that my thing in my trunk for years, but you know, like the only possession on me when I was homeless. Right, you're not going to tell me that I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. So we went to go put like, so they go, we don't went through this rigmarole about this air condition for many, many. We have emails, plenty of emails. Tell them again, it's wonderful, awesome. We have emails back and forth. They said something. We had three different stories. One time it was. It was, uh, it was because I had too much stuff plugged into here and it was too much electricity was being used Kev. How often do I have this stuff turned on?
Speaker 1Not often.
Speaker 2One time when I do the podcast for an hour yeah. If I turn on everything That'll be a lot.
Speaker 1Yeah, mostly it's the PlayStation and the TV, if anything is's turned on.
Speaker 2That's the main thing. Yeah, or the computer and whatever. Like mixing equipment, I'm using speakers or whatever the original yeah, there's nothing else that's turned on in this room and you're gonna tell me we pay for our own electricity bill anyway sometimes the lights not on, like what the fuck's going on?
Speaker 1yeah, we pay for our own electricity bill anyway.
Speaker 2Sometimes the light's not on. I'm like what the fuck's going on here? We pay for our own electricity bill anyway. What the fuck's the matter with you? What does it matter to you anyway? And I use surge protectors the right way. I know how to chain them the right way Right, right. I got it. You know what I'm saying. I'm not an idiot. That's the reason I know what's going on in the first place.
Exposing Neglected Building Safety Issues
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, People think you're crazy. They're like what the heck People think I'm stupid.
Speaker 2They really think I'm a fucking moron. And it's really starting to get to me, dude. And it's really starting to get to me Like don't get me wrong Like I'm definitely a hypochondriac. You know what I mean? Definitely fucking whack, a fucking doo-, a wacky, fucking dude, like crazy.
Speaker 1Me Come on man what.
Speaker 2Out of my fucking mind Kev.
Speaker 1Well, I'm K2K too. I'm pretty fucking crazy.
Speaker 2That's what we used to call you in high school. Yeah, but the only reason we called you is because we knew we owned it. We had it. Yeah, we did it. Yeah, we did it all. We can't call anyone names. We did it. Yeah, we did it all. We can't call anyone names that we can't own ourselves. I'm sorry.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2I'm a fucking psycho bro.
Speaker 1Well, yeah, because you know it. It's like a fact of life. People don't think like that, though they don't think deep in it, you know. So you got it right there and you're putting action in it.
Speaker 2It's like that guy's crazy what is he doing, but that's what you're supposed to be doing.
Speaker 1They think I'm fucking wackadoodle, yeah but who gives a fuck what they think? They think do you know? You're right.
Speaker 2I know I'm right, kev exactly, let's get it done I know I'm right kevin I fucking know it and that's all I have to say.
Speaker 2It's easy as 1, 2, 3. A, b, c. Count on me, I'll be here. If you say to me Fuck that shit, I'm coming, I'm coming, he's coming to the rain, he's there. He's coming, he's coming for you, he is. What's his name? Jesse? He's coming, bro. I'm coming for everything because I know there you go, I know, I know. I know, I know, I know, you know, yeah, I don't think I know motherfuckers, I know. They don't think. I know motherfuckers Right, I know Dusty.
Speaker 1They don't think I don't know, dusty. Yeah, they think I don't know. Yeah, oh man.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1They don't know, dusty, he would bring up your. If you had a bad day, you would go right to good Bro.
Speaker 2You know, they think I don't know, dusty.
Speaker 1Dusty Rhodes Fuck WWE. Come on, dude, come on. Before it was WWF, you know WWE.
Speaker 2That's right, because the fucking animal rights.
Speaker 1Yeah, the animal rights, all animal rights, yep.
Speaker 2Animal rights. Yeah, well, I'm coming for people rights. Motherfucker, there you go. Housing rights, motherfucker, housing rights. There's mold. We are sinking over here, bro, Right, where they sold.
Speaker 2We used to have a golf course, right, yeah, we used to have a golf course, kev, beautiful golf course, kev, beautiful golf course, beautiful, right. My dad said he golfed at it all the time and, like my, this is I'm talking about when we lived on on ramsey, okay, you know, yeah, we lived in fucking nice, beautiful neighborhood, right, gorgeous house. Yeah, my dad used to go golfing, you know, with him and his little buddies. Yeah, and they used to come over here. That's how nice of a golf course it was. It was over here. They used to come over here to golf over here. That's how nice of a golf course it was. It was over here. They used to come over here to golf over here. That's awesome, right. Yeah, so the guy sold it, of course, right, when I think I had to move back in with my parents, you know of course you know, girl left me there you go you know, lost my job back on drugs.
Speaker 1Okay poor me. You know it's all right. Yeah, it's all right. I'm back on drugs, okay but oh, poor me.
Speaker 2You know, it's all right. Yeah, it's all right, I'm back, I'm over here. You know what I'm saying? I'm not over there, I'm just saying what was over there. Hey, I was over there, that was over there, but I'm over here, there you go, I'm saying that's all I'm saying.
Speaker 1I'm saying I was over there. I was over there, I ain't over here, no more. Yeah, I'm over here. I'm not going back who, I'm going ahead. What? Yeah, you can't catch up to me. Huh, I'm too fast for you. What Shit, yeah, did I just see Kate? What? I can't remember his name because he went so fast.
Speaker 2Fest too, Damn. That's why Jesse's neck hurts so much. He's constantly trying to fuck he's constantly getting out. He's constantly trying to chase motherfuckers. He's constantly catching motherfuckers and lies. Yeah, narrations, fake narrations, fake narratives and fake stories. Kev, they think I don't know what's going on here, bro, I wouldn't be surprised if this wall, this fucking ceiling caved in on us Like that's how fucking, that's how crazy this shit is.
Speaker 1It matters what's up there, as long as we don't get hit and we survive, we're good. I hope it's not the kitchen, because I don't want to get hit by a kitchen table.
Speaker 2No, the kitchen probably.
Speaker 1Maybe a bed.
Speaker 2Maybe a bed. You might get hit by a fucking TV. Okay, TV's fine.
Speaker 1I'll survive that.
Speaker 2Or like a fucking PS3 or something.
Speaker 1Oh, a. Ps3 I'll keep there you go Like oh shit, okay, yeah, they start playing some video games with me.
Speaker 2It's going to take a while while they take your video. Yeah, exactly, I'll be sitting there with a whole new.
Speaker 1You got everything you need over there Damn. You need over there Damn Playing some PS3 while they clean their ass up.
Speaker 2Damn, it's all the room now, damn, yeah, no, turn two into one. There you go. That's what they're trying to do. They really are waiting for this shit to fall down. Kev, there are beams I've showed you with the posts that are not even connected and swinging.
Speaker 1It's like a nail sticking out and swinging like this.
Speaker 2I called health inspectors Called the state health inspector. They said they're sending someone. I'm waiting. They said they're sending one today. I'm waiting. These people who own the plaza are very rich. We need help. I am telling you, whoever is willing to take on this lawsuit like if there's anyone that sees this little short that I'm making right now that I'm putting together any lawyer that sees this if you're willing to take this on, there is a fat over 1119 residents in this apartment complex right now. Right, I guarantee you more than half have structural integrity problems and mold in their kitchens and they're growing from their sub-basements.
Speaker 1So Jesse's saying right now is you will always find a problem, always, always.
Speaker 2Always Did we not find one, we found plenty, plenty.
Speaker 1It's insane. I didn't see them last time and I'm just finding new stuff Now. I opened your eyes, didn't I? Because it looks really nice from the outside. It does, it's beautiful.
Speaker 2But on our side, once you start getting over to where they haven't really touched, it's really really bad, bro, like fire damage. There's rotting wood, that people live on these balconies and the brought the woods rotted out.
Speaker 1Is they old? It's failed.
Speaker 2The wood is rotted out like come on, how do you do that to somebody talk? About 1941 huh god damn dude, how do you do that to somebody man?
Speaker 1It's messed up.
Speaker 2It's really messed up. You got kids that live here bro.
Speaker 1That's the main thing. Kids. We have newborns upstairs and we have, like what we have mold going around.
Speaker 2You have babies that live here. You can't be doing that shit. You really got to be taking it and the thing is, it's like I want to fix it, it's like all right. So I bought the like. We literally found this like substance behind our like age vacuum, right, and they brought these two dudes who don't speak any English. Oh, that's perfect Right, who probably do not have citizenship.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2With no masks, no gloves. No gloves, cool To come. What we think we don't know we're not. We're asking them to test it right mold because, you gotta remember, I had a fungal infection yeah, you did I had all. I have all this on records. I have all emails. Every time we call the optimum guy to come to do internet work, he says that the sub-basement is flooded.
Speaker 1If the sub-basement has been flooded for over six months, that means what still water water, yeah, and that means moisture, moisture, moisture, mold, and then it gets worse and worse and turns into black mold.
Speaker 2Black mold, any mold, it could be green mold that can live with you and fucking not do anything for years and years and years and years and years. But you can cause chronic bronchitis. It can cause fucking asthma problems. It can cause those kids to grow up that need their inhaler. You know those ones that you see in school every day. They're going, those motherfuckers. Yeah, that's because of these fucking slumlords, motherfuckers.
Speaker 1Slumlords, I said what I know be, nice though Be nice to the black mold grower who won't come Listen.
Speaker 2We called them. They said, okay, okay, we, oh, my god, this is so serious, we are gonna send I to my mother. I have this on recording, yeah, and we told her okay, you're being recorded okay, good she was.
Speaker 2Oh my god, I'm so sorry we are sending someone to your house either. Today it's on friday. Everything always happens to me on friday, of course, always, always gotta wait the weekend. I always get arrested on a friday. I always get told, you know, I mean always something happens on friday. I always gotta wait the weekend. You always gotta wait the weekend, jess. You always want to buy a package on friday. You always want to do something on friday. God damn this friday right oh man so, and it was Friday.
Speaker 2So, she goes, we'll either send someone out today or we're going to send someone out Monday. So she and I said make sure it's not Glenwood Maintenance. They don't know what they're talking about. Oh, she's like no, no, it is going to be outside contractors. I promise they're going to come. We're going to do a test a microbial scrub. No, no, it is going to be outside contractors. I promise they're going to come. We're going to do a test a microbial scrub all this stuff.
Speaker 1Oh, it must have took them a full while to get through the wall. Crazy.
Speaker 2Yo, thank you. And they were like oh, that's nothing.
Speaker 1What the matter with you? What are you talking about?
Speaker 2Bro, but I wasn't here, I was at the studio of course every time. Yeah, bro, if I was only here, maybe it was a blessing, because I probably would have slapped shit at them for trying to make my parents look like that, because my mom was like no, what are you talking?
Speaker 1about.
Speaker 2It's good to see how I showed my doctor the shit this morning and she was like no, that is not mildew, she's like jesse, you've been coming to me for over two years. You've been having trouble with your voice, with singing yeah, over like seven, eight months right now. Right, she goes, go to the doctor immediately. She goes get blood work done, get some stuff done. Just call the health inspector, like you've been doing.
Speaker 1Yes.
Uncovering Building Safety Concerns
Speaker 2Get those. Like I told you, I got those little fucking HEPA vents running HP ATP carbon. Like take out all the little particles, bro. I don't have to dust really that much, it's pretty great. It's a pretty great thing. I love that thing. I would get it even if I didn't have fucking deadly shit burning my fucking that, bro, that's why I don't sleep. It was like telling it would get it was getting me out of the space. It's not like if you're here for fucking three hours or a day.
Speaker 2You're not gonna feeling it's I'm talking about weeks like you have to be here and touch the right spot and like for a little bit you know what I mean and sit in it for a little bit and like, catch this, like you know it's. It's not just you get what I mean, that's not, it's weird, it's not just, it's not just come in, you're gonna get it. It's like you have to be prolonged and that's what they need to get used to you.
Speaker 1Yeah, they knew that.
Speaker 2They knew that and they thought it was going to be come and goers Like fucking you're here, you're there. They thought it was going to be a swish and swash.
Speaker 1Do they even expect? How do you say it? Look over the place expect it.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, and that's the thing. That's why I get so mad. I'm like mom. They do say that they're doing inspections all the time and they come and they go like this oh, that's how you do it.
Speaker 1Okay, I can. I can get a job like that. What?
Speaker 2oh okay, yeah, it looks great. And they say, oh, and make sure nothing's in the the room and the room that we found the shit in, make sure nothing's in there, because we're coming to check that room. Bro, if you look at that room, I'm gonna put pictures up. Bro, it is like the worst job any person could have possibly done to do whatever they were trying to do, because I don't know hvac. That's well, I'm gonna put this up.
Speaker 2I know a lot of my boys probably that watch this shit, know hvac very well, right, yo, you'll look at this and probably be like what the fuck is that? Damn, it's bad, dude, it's really, really bad. And I have this like thing where it's like this dude put this piece of metal on the bottom of this pipe to hold it up and screwed it into the ceiling, thinking that just by having it screwed into the ceiling and then screwed to the bottom, that it was going to be enough to hold this like gigantic pipe. And it's like literally do nothing. It's just there. It's like just nothing has nothing to do with anything. So I just yo it's so. It's ridiculous, bro. It's like it's so ridiculous.
Speaker 2There's so many other ways for them to go around like they could have bent the pipe around it and like you know what I mean. It made a U and it held it in place, but instead they just put one piece to one. I show it's the most shitty workmanship. There are cracks around every window, around every door. And how this happens? Because we put it in an air-condition air condition because I don't have air conditioning in this fucking room and when I went to go put it in, I noticed from the outside because I went to go put the wood in the back, yeah, that my wood, all of it's exposed and rotted and like, like, what the fuck is this like? What am I looking at?
Speaker 2right now like what is this like are you serious like my air condition? Like the windowsill sunk into the fucking wall. Wow, I'm like yo. There's something's going on like this is crazy, bro. This is crazy like shit. Something's got to change. Something has got to change, bro. Like I was like something's got to be done immediately yeah, definitely then I started picking up on other small things and then hypochondriac jesse comes out and I'm like there is fucking everywhere that's insane so then I was like yo, I gotta calm down, I gotta figure out what's real, you know.
Speaker 2I mean, can you hear me got a water over there on the floor, even if you gotta get up, it's over. I'm fucking be careful with the headphones, headphones. But yeah, motherfuckers, I'm coming for you, I'm coming for life, I'm coming Coming For your life's inheritance, because this is my life, because it seems like they're using their money To like stop. You have more than enough money to just fix this building.
Speaker 1So what they do is they put a bunch of buildings up around it. They don't want to look after them or nothing. They just want to have people use their money, month after month, and pay. That's why they're rich, that's why they have a lot of money. So they don't look at them. They're going to lock down to the floor, and that's what's happening right now. Now maybe there's another building somewhere else, but it's going to go through the same thing, because that's what they're doing. They might have newer buildings, but if they build them, we have to tell them before.
Speaker 2It's like building All right. They say that you cannot build a house on your foundation on a plot of sand. Right, like I don't want to build this relationship on sand, I want to build it on a solid foundation.
Speaker 1Exactly.
Speaker 2Right, we are built literally on mud. We are literally on. You can watch as this. It's like a slump. You come into the neighborhood. It's like a swamp. It's a slump, but you saw it right. You come into the neighborhood. It's like a slump. You come into the neighborhood, it's like a swamp, like yeah, it's a slump, but you saw it right. Like you, you come to neighbors like oh, and like all the water is like you could tell.
Speaker 2It's like I don't know, bro, it's very weird. It's where the church is too, yeah, and it's like I don't know. It just gets me weirded out, and I know there's so many structural integrity problems, so many, and that is the only thing that I'm trying to tell. Like, just use to get them to come over here and then like, damn, like, look at this fucking mold too. Like, cause I'm sick, like dude, I'm getting sick and I have sensitive. I have sensitive like canal, like I have big ass ear canal.
Speaker 1You're getting sick because you're getting lazy.
Speaker 2I broke because it causes fatigue. It caused, but I'm losing weight now that, like, thank God, I'm realizing that I need to get the fuck out of this room.
Speaker 1I need to get out of this house.
Speaker 2I need to like start moving around. It's causing me to want, but yo, that thing is a lifesaver. I really didn't. I really didn't realize that it has gotten me better sleep. I've been waking up with more energy. I have been like catching, wanting to catch up on sleep more you know and like, oh, it's been putting me in a better state and then Definitely clearing out all the moisture. You saw, when you came in this room you felt it.
Speaker 1It was bad. When I came in today, I could breathe. You didn't realize it, though.
Speaker 2You couldn't realize it until it was like Until it got fixed, because outside it was humid. Inside. It was like, okay, it's humid inside, but it shouldn't be humid inside.
Speaker 1It should not.
Speaker 2You should have all the cracks sealed.
Speaker 1Yeah, everything.
Speaker 2You realize how much air conditioning and heat that you're wasting.
Speaker 1It's just going out the cracks. What they're doing is like oh okay, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, done, Okay, I got a building Money. Where's the care what they build it on? They can build it on sand, like you said, or even water. When they sink, they sink, that's it.
Speaker 2Kevin. They have so much money that I don't know what the fuck. Who will even be able to be willing to go head to head with these motherfuckers? I called three. I called three law firms. You know, what they all said? No, they all said no.
Speaker 1Because it's.
Speaker 2They all said no, you got to get what is it Don't? Tell me you got to get JG Wentworth. No, that's not even what. That's cash for money, right?
Speaker 1Cash for money? I don't know JG. Wentworth, I didn't.
Speaker 2Who did you say not to call then the Ghostbusters? The fuck.
Speaker 1Ghostbusters. Yeah, Don't call. Who's going to call Ghostbusters? That's right, who do you?
Speaker 2not want me calling Damn, who can't I call Damn, who can't I call damn, who can I call? You said I want you guys to call three lawyers. No one would take you. You better not call, yeah, yeah, you don't know? Huh, I don't know, bro, I'm trying to. I, I gotta figure something out.
Speaker 1It's hard to find it, bro. I gotta figure something. They're gonna's hard to find, bro, I gotta figure something out. They're gonna fight and you're gonna suck out all your money to your lawyer. No, I'm not paying.
Speaker 2That's the thing. You don't have to pay anything. I'm not looking for a lawyer, I'm not paying shit for a civil lawsuit. They have to be willing. That's what I'm saying. It has to be a lawyer that's willing to go for a minute.
Speaker 1Yeah, they're gonna have to be willing to go for a little minity mini, you want to go to trial?
Speaker 2that's what I'm saying. No, they're never gonna trial once the lawyer finally, once we, if we ever find a lawyer that has enough money to like put their mouth where their money is and be like come on, look at this and like actually hire contractors and like do all this shit and be like here's the paperwork. Here's this.
Speaker 1Like let's go to court oh yeah, get it, get it here.
Speaker 2That's all they, yeah, that's all you have to do all of a sudden they'll be like, okay, settle, okay, how much, all right, and we want a new apartment pay for for the rest of their lives okay. Or I want xyz okay, z Okay. I want all this, like I want to make sure that these kids are safe. You want to make sure your family's safe.
Speaker 2Yeah, I want to make sure that the rest of these buildings are taped off and no one ever steps foot in them again, like I want to make sure that whoever lives in these apartment complexes will never have to go through what I've went through to go. That's what I want will be in the paper, 100%, and then he's signing it. If it ain't, motherfucker, I don't give a shit. I don't want anyone else to have to go through this this is a nightmare it is.
Speaker 2It's a fucking nightmare. I shouldn't go through this. It really is. And I feel so bad that I have to do this to my parents because they don't. They shouldn't have to deal with this dude. No, you know what I mean. But there's, but it sucks, that's life. You know what I mean. It sucks, it's life. I'm realizing that.
Speaker 1Yep.
Speaker 2Shit we don't want to happen is going to happen all day, every day.
Speaker 1And it's good you found out right.
Speaker 2Yes, I'd rather have found out than died, yep.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2I really would rather have found out than die my man KD Gee, Gee. Yeah, See, because I'm just tired, I just want to. It was so nice to have someone listen, dude, Of course, you know, when I told my doctor and it was validated like yeah, like this is legit.
Speaker 2She understood it too. I was like all right, finally. And my mom too. My mom was on my side to 100% and she was like yeah, that shit's fucking bad, that's crazy. Yeah, I mean that's crazy. You can't do that to these little kids growing up with asthma.
Speaker 1It just breaks my heart. Yeah, everybody has asthma here and they never had asthma. That's yo crazy.
Speaker 2Get out of here that's something that blows my mind everyone who moved into this building before that, never had asthma.
Speaker 1Yeah, all of a sudden has to use an inhaler and ladies and gentlemen, if you are watching, if you want to take an interview one day and talk about when you didn't have asthma and when you started started getting it when you got in this building or before or after, just let us know, because if you want to fight this with us, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1We're gonna do a civil suit, something kev right, we do something yeah, we're not gonna do something, we're not just gonna sit back and just let them look at katie g you ain't letting nobody, let nobody, no, not at all, never. No, this is your house, this is your life.
Speaker 2Yeah, never ever, never, ever, never ever will I let them take it we're just paying them for rent.
Speaker 1They got to take care of the place.
Speaker 2And just when I start paying rent too, I'm getting some shit done.
Comedic Banter Between Friends

Speaker 1Yeah, no, because Of the, because it was sinking into the ground.
Speaker 2Yeah, no, because of the moisture it was loosening the screws.
Speaker 1Kev. Oh, that's why the chair was loose.
Speaker 2Yeah, it was getting loose, yeah, I don't know if it makes that sound, but Shake it, shake it.
Speaker 1Oh, you got to shake it. Just shake, shake, shake, shake, shake.

Speaker 1Don't put yourself down.
Speaker 2Aww, poor me.
Speaker 1So I feel sorry for you. What do you?
Speaker 2mean I love it. Made a good little thing, thought it was funny. Too bad, the camera wasn't turned around on me when you turned.
