Getting Out With Jesse Xander
Raw, unfiltered, conversations and interviews filled with laughter.
Getting Out is Hosted By Me, Jesse Xander, I spent 3 years in prison, during the covid pandemic and locked down 24 hours a day. So every day is a gift that I have to remind myself to even open.
I spent most of my young life in the Entertainment industry. I had the privilege to work with artists such as The Sugar Hill Gang, Biz Markie, Poppa Don, Inner Party System, Ty Wiz and many others but before I knew it I was in sooo deep I didn't think id ever be able to GET OUT, let alone repair all the damage I caused. But I’m alive and I’m free.
I started Getting Out to tackle topics such as addiction, mental health and Prison Life-which comes with stories of loved ones passing and a lot of pain. But also stories of redemption and over coming. GETTING OUT gives us a chance to look at ourselves our past mistakes, and hopefully help someone that is dealing with something similar.. Or maybe you’re just interested in what prison life is like and want a good laugh? We got you.
Learn to laugh at the person you were, use your mistakes as your personal super power.
So lets get out together!

Getting Out With Jesse Xander
Content Vs. Consequences Jack Doherty In Handcuffs Again!
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A viral mindset meets a real badge, and the results are ugly fast. We break down body cam footage tied to IRL streamer Jack Doherty, starting with the moment he leaves his group and steps into the roadway in Miami Beach to provoke a reaction for his channel. Officers give multiple warnings, friends tell him to stop, and he still keeps filming. That’s the turning point where “just content” becomes a safety issue, then an arrest.
From there, we follow the chain reaction: the search that uncovers suspected cannabis and a pill described as Adderall, the shift from street control to station procedure, and the uncomfortable reality of how jail processing works. We talk through why a Friday night arrest can mean sitting for hours, how judges and transport schedules affect release, and what bail can look like when charges stack up. If you’ve ever wondered how quickly resisting without violence can get added, or how “I didn’t know” plays in the moment, this footage answers it in real time. The most revealing stretch is at the station, where officers try to accommodate basic requests until one simple instruction gets ignored.....

The Setup And Street Warnings
SPEAKER_01Pretty famous IRL streamer Jack Doherty has gotten into trouble. And we have his body cam footage.
SPEAKER_06I'm an officer. No, you're f not.
The Arrest Begins On Camera
SPEAKER_00When an entitled YouTuber pushes officers too far, they decide to bring him in. But they're unaware of the lengths he's willing to go to turn this situation into content. It's around 3 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, November 15th, 2025. An East Miami Beach police officer stationed on Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida, have reached their patience limit with 22-year-old YouTuber Jack Doherty, who broke away from his group and attempted to engage officers to create content for his channel in the middle of the roadway, creating a safety hazard. Despite multiple warnings, Jack continued recording the video, even ignoring his friends as they told him to stop. As a final warning, officers told him that they would arrest him if he didn't comply. To which Jack replied, Once I'm done with this, bet. And now, as officers move to make good on that warning, they have no idea that Jack is far from done recording them on this day.
SPEAKER_06What? No! I got it, I got him. I got him, I got it. I got it. Yo, no, you don't want to go neither. Back up.
SPEAKER_03Back up. Don't worry about it.
Search Finds Weed And A Pill
SPEAKER_06Back up. Back up. No. Go to the sidewalk now. Go to the sidewalk now. You want to go with him? Go to the sidewalk now. Anything for content now. You want to be funny. We try to get on the street. Go on the fing street. I'm getting out the street. No, you're not. Like after I finally do it, who the f are you, bro? I was trying to walk out the street for the street. Doesn't matter, bro. All you have to do was get in the sidewalk. That's it. You want to be funny? I was trying to. I was trying to.
SPEAKER_00Now, as officers proceed to search him, they immediately find even more reasons to take him to jail, but Jack only sees it as another content opportunity, something the officers have yet to realize.
SPEAKER_03Oh, good.
SPEAKER_01Weeds illegal in Florida? I had no idea.
SPEAKER_05You have to like sock it off your wrist. Like you can't take it off anyway.
SPEAKER_01Yo, they needed to keep themselves going.
SPEAKER_05But no, no, you really can't take it off that way, sir. No, no.
SPEAKER_01That's how you know he's he's serious. He has a carrying case for his drugs. I remember those days. Not good days, bro, because I wound up a lot like this.
SPEAKER_06I guess I'm just telling you, I know. We told him a bunch of times. No, no, no, no. You're cool, you're cool.
SPEAKER_07I was telling you genuinely, I apologize on his behalf. No, and I tell you to apologize, bro.
SPEAKER_01You are, and they probably have to deal with it on a daily basis.
SPEAKER_06You're still irritated by I'm not I'm not tripping, I'm just making it. I don't know. I got you, I got you.
SPEAKER_05What is all right the watch? You have to like untake. I got it, you're on it. Yeah, thank you. Can you tell me to pull up here the my friends?
SPEAKER_04You can take the watch off 05.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. They're not gonna steal your watch.
SPEAKER_01No, no, we're gonna tell you.
SPEAKER_07No, but this is not the cat roll. I'm just I'm gonna go. I'm sorry you get an idea what's going on. That's how we gotta learn.
SPEAKER_00With officers finding three hand-rolled suspected cannabis cigarettes and half of an orange oval shaped pill marked with a three, can sit that was an Adderall 30.
SPEAKER_01An orange oval shaped pill with three zero. So he's unless he's got a prescription for it, which I don't know, he probably does. Or he'll get one for his court uh his court date, which I've done before. But marijuana I didn't know it was uh illegal statewide.
Booking Reality Check And Jail Math
SPEAKER_00With a schedule two amphetamine, Jack is immediately brought to the station. Oh amphetamine, told you.
SPEAKER_02Um you'll ask them when you get a chance to.
SPEAKER_06How long will it take?
SPEAKER_02Uh don't know. Soon as the the judge calls you in, then you'll be fine. Respectfully, so you're not trying to like the question. Uh well answer it. Um, I'll answer it later on. I because I don't know. Uh I don't know. What you tonight? Probably no, probably tomorrow. Maybe. Oh no. This is just a pit stop.
SPEAKER_01So he's picking up another view? Uh come on. Oh, this oh you said this is jail, it's not jail. Okay. So if you don't know, the way that it works is that you get picked up by the cops, they bring you into the precinct, which has their own little cells, right? Now the thing is, they can call the judge if it's a small thing. The judge can release you on your own recognizance, give you a court date, and tell you to go, depending on if the how severe the crime is. From what I can tell, uh, he is gonna be uh going to the police station, get fingerprinted, all that other stuff, and then go to jail, and then he's gonna have to wait in jail till the next morning, or if it's a Friday, he might have to wait the weekend till Monday to see a judge to order his release and release him on his own recognizance or give him a bail amount. He will be then be able to post 10% of that bail and then just show up to his court date and he gets his money back.
SPEAKER_04Oh you guys are you wrong? For now, you know. I'm sorry, bro. So is he recording this?
SPEAKER_05We got you. No, where is he? Do you have the right to remain silent? Everything you will, right? Because no one said that to me.
SPEAKER_04We're not questioning it.
SPEAKER_05Oh, really?
SPEAKER_04That's kind of how it works. That's right. Yes, stuff like that.
SPEAKER_02Nothing up.
SPEAKER_04Are you gonna just body cam stuffing? Well, it's the same.
SPEAKER_05That's tough.
unknownThat's tough.
SPEAKER_01Alright. That's tough. No, that's tough for you, buddy. It's not tough, it's tough for them. It's very easy. They just put it on and they can record you doing your stupid shit. Just like you do.
SPEAKER_04Alright. So this is what's going to happen. I'm going to remove the ankle from you. Listen.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, yeah.
Jewelry Anxiety And Entitlement
SPEAKER_04Then take all your jewelry out.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_04Socks, sneakers, put it on top of the collar.
SPEAKER_00Yes? Top of the uh what? Counter. This might seem like a simple order, but to Jack, it's about protecting his jewelry, and he won't even hesitate to instruct officers on how to preserve it.
unknownI'm not coming out tonight.
SPEAKER_01Oh, they're throwing all that in the bag and it's all getting scratched up, brother.
SPEAKER_04Tomorrow's a Saturday. Hopefully, tomorrow. Okay, hopefully.
SPEAKER_01Tomorrow, dude, that was always my luck. I always got arrested on a Friday. And if you get arrested on a Friday, guess what? That means that you're gonna have to wait the weekend unless they have judges and they have things on Saturday and Sunday. Sorry, sorry, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_05So she didn't shit. Oh I scratched my up. Yep. Diamonds are suing.
SPEAKER_04Take the jeweler real quick.
SPEAKER_05Take everything up. You guys you guys give me like carefully. Yeah, of course.
SPEAKER_01So do you realize we as a society? We as a society all we made this kid rich. We gave him his necklaces. Well, I didn't. I haven't watched this kid once until now. I always hear his name and get arrested. But you gave him his necklaces, his watches, all that just because you watched him doing stupid shit like that. See, I'm promoting him getting arrested, but I I don't know. What is he famous on? A kick and rumble and stuff, I'm guessing? Maybe TikTok? Alright, we're gonna get a document anymore.
SPEAKER_05Alright, cool.
SPEAKER_04His friends outside.
SPEAKER_05Can I call him or do anything to get in this so it doesn't have to be here? Please give him a few.
SPEAKER_03I'm down for that. Let him, he got his phone, right? Yeah, it's right here. Make a phone, let him make a beam. And you know, they can take all your jewelry. Yes, sir. When you're giving the order, dog, you gotta do that. Like you could have avoided all of this.
SPEAKER_05I know. I wish I could have. But like already, right when I was getting out of order, I turned around, boom, my security guard was there. But like it was. Yo, you wanna come to the street? You got my location? Um, you don't know where the police station is?
SPEAKER_01You can't look that up on your phone, dude. Come on, something's going on. He's doing something with his phone.
SPEAKER_03I'm recording on the jewelry. Yeah, you can pick up my jewelry in the car. Matter of fact, yeah, put it all in the bag. He's gonna go back out and go into your car or whatever sitting there. Yeah. And then the guy who walked him in or literally, he's like, hey, he can get this and and get his get his all his the person he's giving all that earthquake that goes in the OIM. I don't want nothing to come over.
SPEAKER_05I'm trying to tell him to come here. Yo, Kanye. Hello, hello. And no video, there's phone calls. It's just not working.
Phone Call Rules Get Ignored
SPEAKER_01These cops are being so accommodating towards him. And I can guarantee, I haven't seen this video. They just told him no videos, just make his phone call. I guarantee you he's gonna try to do some more bullshit. They're gonna piss these cops off because the video is 15 minutes long. And I think we're only like seven minutes in maybe ten. Let's see. Hold on. Seven minutes and fifty-seven seconds. So, what's the prediction? The pot, let's just put it on polymarket. Let's see where we're going.
SPEAKER_02I'm taking the drilling off, man. Come on.
SPEAKER_05Sorry, sir. I'm just trying to tell him to get here.
SPEAKER_02Just take off why are you doing that? Take off the drilling. We got his 13? No. Not yet.
SPEAKER_05You hear me?
SPEAKER_02Alright, where are you?
SPEAKER_05We're walking right now.
SPEAKER_02Okay, bet. Tell him to have his um his driver's license and everything ready.
SPEAKER_04ID.
SPEAKER_05Put someone, just have Dave or whoever has your ID. We have everything. You do?
SPEAKER_02We have everything.
SPEAKER_05I bet.
SPEAKER_04How much was there again?
SPEAKER_03Four.
SPEAKER_0440. 100. Okay. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. You sold all, right? Yeah, we got six, seven. All going in here.
SPEAKER_05Wait, no, no, no. I started giving it to him. Yeah. You are putting it in the video.
SPEAKER_04Nice and neat, yeah. Okay, so one here. Right? No, no.
SPEAKER_05We have to do this perfectly. Alright, all right, y'all. Okay.
SPEAKER_04Two. Right? Alright. Three right here. Four.
SPEAKER_05Thank you. We got a separate bag first with all the scratch without you don't got a separate bag? No, what?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_05Because you're gonna scratch it up. We got it. Alright, thank you so much. Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_04Yourself, right? Can you uh what's you doing, bro? Here's a problem, right? We met on a session for you to make a phone call. Yes? Yes. And I told you not to record. We are recording.
SPEAKER_05I know.
SPEAKER_04So you know what's gonna happen now? All you just go with you is the thing you came. We're not giving this anybody else.
SPEAKER_01I did just delete the video.
SPEAKER_04No, take your screws now.
Small Choices Create Big Consequences
SPEAKER_01Bro, right? What did I say? I knew we had a little bit left. So now cops were being so accommodating. I one, because they probably didn't want any of that jewelry in your deal with the ramifications if someone did take it after in the jail, which that has been done by prisoners or by correctional officers. So I could see why they were trying to accommodate him like that for that. And also they're just seem like cool cops, but now you just took it to another level, bud. Take your shoes off. Take your shoes off. They're allowed to, so they don't.
SPEAKER_04Hey, call this out here. 10 to 07. Uh, somebody picking this up is going to the UK. The what? Uh 100 jail. You guys really gotta make that, dude. Like, I mean, it's a fucking game, like fucking. I'm not doing it. Come on, bro. Take some steps back. The balls, bro. More. More. Alright. Hey, that's going to the UK. Everything's going to the UK. 150315. They're pissed.
SPEAKER_01Oh, they're really searching now.
SPEAKER_04Sorry, everything, everything's going to DK.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, okay, cool. Even better, yeah. Oh, they're major.
SPEAKER_01So what he's saying is he's gonna be sitting in here for a minute. We ain't transporting them now. They do they do two or three transports a day. If they're nice and they have nothing else to do, they'll drive you to the jail. But if not, you're waiting for that transport dog. Well, trying to be funny, dog. Well, I know. It's just not funny anymore, is it?
SPEAKER_04Okay, come. Oh, probably. Oh, silly, huh?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, sorry.
SPEAKER_03I was trying to help him out. He's gonna go straight over.
SPEAKER_01See what I was I was trying to help him out. He was gonna go straight to the jail so that he could see a judge if the judge was there, because it's Friday, so they might still be there that they could call him. He was trying to help him out and get him there so he can get out quicker. Little actions, let me tell you, can breed big consequences. Okay? Little mistakes can breed really big consequences, and I am a perfect example of that.
SPEAKER_04Make an assembly phone.
SPEAKER_07I'm gonna be very nice with you. Six o'clock in the morning. I have no idea what's yes, you did. I explained that.
SPEAKER_05But I honestly don't want you. No, we can't do it.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, it's cool because everything is looking screw, QRU. No, you can't do it.
SPEAKER_07No, no, QR.
SPEAKER_04No, it's great.
SPEAKER_07You can't do it.
SPEAKER_04No, we're gonna find it on the phone. I know where you're coming from, okay? How about resistance? Possibly potential uh possession. Possibly possession. Possession of substance. I caught it. Understand that? Yes.
SPEAKER_00Even after realizing the full impact of his actions, Jack's desperate attempt to apologize only becomes another display of his vanity.
unknownI know I fucked up.
Charges, Bond, And Content Aftermath
SPEAKER_05Should you have filmed a cake?
SPEAKER_04You're taking it with you to T GK, bro. You go with you. He goes to TGK with you.
SPEAKER_05But I'm gonna like eat my kid.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's just yeah, yeah, of course.
SPEAKER_05Scratched off at all. I found it might be process after.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no. Like you would get released. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05No, I don't get out.
SPEAKER_04Huh? No one out of the out. Hopefully tomorrow, man, but probably not in the morning anymore, you know?
SPEAKER_05No release.
SPEAKER_04Hey, I'll try helping you.
SPEAKER_00Ultimately, Jack Doherty was charged with felony, possession of controlled substance without prescription, misdemeanor, resisting without violence, possession of cannabis. He was later released on a$3,500 cash bond. But true to his nature, Jack continued milking the incident for content after his release. Even uploading footage officers had accidentally recorded on his phone after not realizing the camera was still running. In a later interview with TMC, Jack described the arrest as the worst day of his life, claiming it was stuck in a small cell for five hours before being moved to a larger holding group for another 10 hours. Continuing to profit off the incident, at least until another group of officers decides to draw the line and take him in again.
SPEAKER_01Or a judge decides that, okay, enough is enough. Let's set an example and send this kid away for a couple months, okay? That's the only way, right? Scare him straight, as they say. Remember that show? Great show. Great clips from that show. We should have an episode of the best fucking clips from Scared Straight. That is something actually I might just do. Well, thank you for watching. That was this was awesome watching a uh IRL streamer get what was coming to him.
