We are thrilled to welcome you to the Visible Series podcast, hosted by The V Word ‼️

Overall, this podcast is an important resource for anyone interested in learning more about the experiences of women in the military including both the unique challenges they face plus the spectacular triumphs.

Hello there!

I'm Ria, the founder of The V Word and the Visible series.

I served 12 years in the Royal Air Force and I'm over 6 years out.

If you read my blogs you will know that my transition has been a wee bit squiggly and my favourite quote is by Brene Brown:

"Share your story as one day it could be someone else's survival guide"

Since the launch The V Word it has grown to a community of over 5000 women on multiple social media platforms.

We have facilitated peer to peer support groups, wellbeing webinars, an online women veteran job fair, been involved in multiple research projects, been on TV, Radio and Podcasts and now birthed the Visible Series.

I'm looking forward to seeing what more we can do for our community in the future and feel privileged to be trusted with the stories of so many amazing women veterans.
